I have always longed to be known, truly known, by another human being.
Do you have any lost dreams or ambitions from the pandemic?
The beginning part of Dream Count is set during the COVID-19 pandemic. Does reading Chiamaka’s experience bring back some of your own memories from this time?
Do you have a similar feeling to Chia, the want to be known? Do you think she will experience this feeling in the book?
Chia appears to be a very normal person; she creates lives with people she has never met before. Do you think Chimamanda does this so that we are on Chia’s side for future events that we might be against?
I looked at him and gravity loosened and slipped. The pull I felt was immediate, consuming, elemental, every granular part of me suddenly rushing toward him. In that moment, something was not so much lost as surrendered.
The above quote explains how Chia felt when she first met Darnell. Have you experienced this sort of feeling when meeting someone for the first time?
Chia felt like she couldn’t make a move and give Darnell her number. Do you think this feeling has more to do with what some women are taught than a personal incapability of being the first one to make the move?
I wanted love, old-fashioned love. I wanted my dreams afloat with his. To be faithful, to share our truest selves to fight and be briefly bereft, always knowing that the sweetness of reconciliation was afoot.
Do you think that we are sold on this deal “old fashioned” love with the movies and romances novels we are fed but these romances are never based on reality and actually seem unattainable?
Do you think Darnell’s roundabout way of answering Chia’s questions were due to him not actually wanting to answer but rather to hold not her and keep Chia trapped in this half relationship that?
What do you think of Darnell’s mockery of her family and her family’s money. Do you think Chia relies too much on her father’s money or do you think because she has the opportunity and the means that she should use this to chase her dreams?
It is clear that her relationship with Darnell creates insecurity in Chia. This is seen through contact removal and addition of her Zurich paragraph. Do you think she will become surer of herself?
Our close friends are small glimpses into us… we choose them. What do you think of Darnell’s friends? What reflections do they give of Darnell?
Darnell seems to have no interest in meeting Chia’s family. Why do you think Chia makes excuses for Darnell?
Chia makes an observation about her mother and how “envy and bitterness, even hatred, [trailed] in her wake.” She follows that by saying “[f]ate has been too kind to her”. Women are often told that they should be humble despite all of the gifts they have been given, whether its wealth or beauty. Do you think that as much as these quotes are a reflection on Chia’s mother, they are also a criticism of the world and how it treats women?
Do you think Darnell and Omelogor purposefully started their argument over slaves? Do you think Darnell thought his “joke” about Chia’s people selling his people into slavery would have the same reaction with her friends? Do you think he expected Omelogor to clap back in the way she did?
What do you think of the ending of Darnell and Chia’s relationship?

1. I’ve moved on from what i wanted before the pandemic and am perusing new goals and dreams.
2. My life didn’t change much because of the pandemic, i was working from home already and just continued as normal. Becoming more reclusive is my biggest regret.
3. Yes I would like to become known. I do believe that Chia will become know, it’s my hope for her.
4. To me Chia comes across as being very insecure within herself and know really knows her not even Darnell, only her close friends seem to know her. I want to see her grow into who she can be, so yes I think I’ll be on her side.
5. I have been married for so long I don’t remember feeling like that.
6. I think it has everything to do with her upbringing as in wit for the man to make the first move.
7. I believe some people do have a relationship like this, it rare, but is possible, don’t many of us want that perfect book boyfriend.
8. Darnell like the idea that Chia was there when it suited him, i think he was hiding a lot form her and never really honest wiht her.
9. Darnell’s mockery of Chia’s family money was his ego, to put himself above her. Chia was used to having her farther money most of her life so having it o chase her dreams is awesome.
10. Wiht the right people around Chia she should become more suer of herself.
11. Her close friends are all very different so they help to give her different angles of what she is going through, They all supported her relationship with Darnell, none of them told her to leave him.
12. Chia made excuses for Darnell to her family to protect Darnell as she felt she was in love with him, she couldn’t see his faults.
13. Maybe, but we as women are responsible for our own thoughts and actions.
14. I think Omelogar was pushing Darnell’s boundaries to see his true personality. They tried to keep it funny (maybe too much wine), I think he was surprised by Omelogar.
15. I am very glad Chia ended her relationship with Darnell.

1 and 2. I think everyone had intentions for all the sudden freer time during the pandemic. In some ways I really enjoyed the quieter lifestyle, no rush and pressure to be somewhere, for an introvert to have a genuine excuse of why you can’t be somewhere , it was a little bit of bliss. But I could relate to her with the fear, the paranoia even though you haven’t been anywhere. All those suppressed memories came rushing back.
3. I do, I want to be known, to be accepted and understood.
4. I’m not sure, I do feel sympathy for her, and I relate to her. I have no idea what’s still to come.
5. In smaller ways yes, the connection to what will become a life long friendship. That feeling of kindred spirits.
6. I think it’s also her self doubt, her fear of acceptance and being seen, what if he rejects me? Putting yourself out there is not easy, and I think the gender stereotype heightens it.
7. I think that’s why romance books and movies are such profitable items, it’s the fantasy the escape, the predictability of it, it’s a comfort and an escape when reality can’t begin to match up.
8. I think it’s all about control for Darnell, to have his hold on her.
9. I think if everyone had a helping hand a support system to reach their dreams the world would be a better and happier place. She should absolutely use the money in the beginning as a step up, but when she gains her wings she can proceed on her own.
10. I hope so without his gaslighting her, I hope she sees her value and worth. I think her cousin and housekeeper will be helpful there.
11. I didn’t like his friends either for the most part. I think they’re narcissists.
12. She doesn’t want her parents to think badly of him because that reflects on her decision to love him, she seeks her parents approval in all areas of her life and doesn’t want to be seen as a failure.
13. Oh, definitely. As a woman (and religiously raised) I struggle to feel proud of any accomplishments. It’s like we can’t think positively about ourselves because it’s vain, arrogant and wrong. We are taught to seek our value else where, from external sources. and It’s exhausting.
14. I think Omelogor has the backbone that women need. Not to take *rubbish* from people. I don’t think he expected her to stand up for Chia.
15. I felt relief, I’m glad it’s over. I just hope he stays away.

1. Do you have any lost dreams or ambitions from the pandemic?
The pandemic left me exhausted and lethargic – the only dream was to keep my loved ones safe.2. The beginning part of Dream Count is set during the COVID-19 pandemic. Does reading Chiamaka’s experience bring back some of your own memories from this time?
Chia’s experience is certainly nostalgic and does bring back some of the uncertainty, frustrations and loneliness associated with lockdown.3. Do you have a similar feeling to Chia, the want to be known? Do you think she will experience this feeling in the book?
I think everybody wants to be known by at least one person. We all seek to understand and be understood. I think that’s why we try so hard at friendships, relationships and situationships. It’s a human condition. Chia’s longing for recognition might not materialise in full, but I would like to be optimistic that she finds some solace.4. Chia appears to be a very normal person; she creates lives with people she has never met before. Do you think Chimamanda does this so that we are on Chia’s side for future events that we might be against?
Chia’s little habit of creating scenarios with strangers is not as farfetched as it might appear, even though it feels extreme. This insight into her character given everything we know about her (smart, beautiful, rich, ambitious) lends her an earnestness that is equally vulnerable and unsettling. I definitely think the author is endearing Chia to us for any future missteps.5. The above quote explains how Chia felt when she first met Darnell. Have you experienced this sort of feeling when meeting someone for the first time?
No, but honestly, it sounds dangerous!6. Chia felt like she couldn’t make a move and give Darnell her number. Do you think this feeling has more to do with what some women are taught than a personal incapability of being the first one to make the move?
African girls are told to never be forward and are called all sorts of names if they are not timid. Despite her allure, even Chia is not exempt from this. It’s a pervasive myth that permeates every traditional society – an unspoken rule that must be obeyed by “nice girls from nice families”7. Do you think that we are sold on this deal “old fashioned” love with the movies and romances novels we are fed but these romances are never based on reality and actually seem unattainable?
I think Chia herself proves that everybody’s ideal love story is different. We might be sold a romantic ideal, but we chase after our *personalised* love stories. The source material is absolutely old-fashioned, however the changing times have given way to more unique experiences that are now being reflected in mainstream media. Love is always attainable.8. Do you think Darnell’s roundabout way of answering Chia’s questions were due to him not actually wanting to answer but rather to hold not her and keep Chia trapped in this half relationship that?
I do believe that Darnell’s non-answers about the status of their relationship and blaming everything on her hormones was emotional abuse, carefully calibrated to keep her dependent on his approval which was always out-of-reach. He manufactured this ugly joke about her family’s wealth and slavery just to shame her and damage her psychologically. If he is always right, then she is always wrong, however he is an excellent teacher!9. What do you think of Darnell’s mockery of her family and her family’s money. Do you think Chia relies too much on her father’s money or do you think because she has the opportunity and the means that she should use this to chase her dreams?
Darnell’s mockery of Chia’s family wealth stems from jealousy and resentment.
I don’t think she’s wrong in her use of her family fortune. Keeping your eyes closed does not make you blind. I believe that Chia (rightfully) utilises her family’s fortunes to pursue her dreams. She is not jaded, braggadocious or selfish about their wealth; which only makes Darnell’s condescension much worse.10. It is clear that her relationship with Darnell creates insecurity in Chia. This is seen through contact removal and addition of her Zurich paragraph. Do you think she will become surer of herself?
I have faith that Chia will find self-assurance. Her ability to introspect and strong friendships will help her discover what she wants and hopefully create the real Chiamaka in the process.11. Our close friends are small glimpses into us… we choose them. What do you think of Darnell’s friends? What reflections do they give of Darnell?
Darnell’s friends are a direct representation of him as a person. They coddle him and only affirm his own beliefs – they peer-review each other’s works! When he makes fun of Chia’s wealth, they uncomfortably laugh along. Their conversations are banal and almost performative: envious of the success of others, while wishing for the same success and always finding excuses. Thompson could be redeemable in the right company, but Charlotte and Shannon are too-far-gone.12. Darnell seems to have no interest in meeting Chia’s family. Why do you think Chia makes excuses for Darnell?
Chia wants to humanise her family to Darnell: to prove that they were never “slave-traders” but his insistence on maintaining this idea keeps him from meeting her parents even when the opportunity presents. I think Chia makes excuses for him to protect the image of him that she has built up: she knows his negative qualities but cannot risk that her family discover them too.13.
It is a universal truth that women must always be humbled (verb, not noun). We are always to remain subservient beings, as ambition is too brash and unfeminine. Self-confidence is always put down, competition is only acceptable against other females. Even beauty is a double-edged sword: putting any effort into your appearance brands you as vain; while self-neglect is chided and ridiculed.14. Do you think Darnell and Omelogor purposefully started their argument over slaves? Do you think Darnell thought his “joke” about Chia’s people selling his people into slavery would have the same reaction with her friends? Do you think he expected Omelogor to clap back in the way she did?
I loved how Omelogor refused to kowtow to Darnell’s ego and how this surprised him! He did not know how to react to dissenting opinion and he had never realised (probably still doesn’t) that others have opinions different from his own. The argument was purposefully about slavery because Darnell thought himself an expert on the subject and always took great pains to share his expertise (Denmark, anyone?). He thought his supposed academic acumen would impress Omelogor and Zikora and was affronted when Omelogor essentially called him lazy.15. What do you think of the ending of Darnell and Chia’s relationship?
The ending of Chia and Darnell’s relationship was delightfully anticlimactic! After all the drama, it was so satisfying that how things ended over something as “trivial” as drinks order! That “mimosa” packed a punch! -
@katie.read.me
Personally, I think we can never be truly known by others until we are truly known by ourselves. We all have a desire to be accepted and understood, but I think we can only get that from others once we have given it to ourselves.
Hmm, I haven’t experienced what Chia did when she first met Darnell, but that isn’t because I haven’t had the opportunity to. I find I stop myself from falling too quickly, it isn’t because I want to be in control, it’s that I want to me out of control BUT with the right person.
We don’t choose the family we are born into, some of us are better off than others. I don’t think this should be held against Chia, I think she can only be judged on what she does with the privileges she has been given. If she uses them to help others, great, if not, that’s her choice, too.
I think Darnell has his own insecurities which manifest themselves negatively in their relationship. I do think Chia will become more comfortable with herself; that she will learn to trust her decision making again. I’m glad that she made the first step to end her relationship.
I’m interested to she how this all unfolds. Ultimately, our happiness and the life we choose to live, depends upon ourselves.

1. Not really I think I was just too scared to even dream during that time. Truly the only thing on my mind was for my loved ones and I to make it out alive.
2. Definitely the uncertainty of it all. What a scary and uncertain time. We just couldn’t look past that moment.
3. Not at all. I actually fear being known. I want to be as low key as possible and I can only hope that as the book goes on she lets go of the need to fit in.
4. I think she’s just a good person and that there’s not much to it. I actually love that she is a people’s person and cares for others.
5. Definitely felt this way when I met my husband. In that moment nothing mattered and I knew that this would be my husband. Whenever I tell this to people they never believe me 😂.
6. I’d say a little bit of both. She definitely comes from a home where the men do the perusing but judging by how she handled her relationship she’s definitely just a princess (literally) she over thinks things and also seems herself undeserving.
7. Maybe in the olden days things were like that but wow romance now is so different and movies are really fairytales because relationships like that are truly hard to come by. I also thing we are sold the narrative that things should come to you without putting in the work. But I’ve learnt that anything in this life needs effort and intentionality.
8. For lack of a better phrase that man hate red Chia no ways a man that loves you would act like that. I think he stayed out of convince and not love or even interest.
9. If I also came from money I would use that to my advantage. It’s not like the girl doesn’t want to do something she’s just asking for a push. Even if it’s a push given to her on a silver platter.
10. That man definitely made her insecure and I definitely believe she will come to stand firm in her beliefs and ultimately know her worth because she has some good influences around her.
11. You definitely are the company you keep and Darnell’s friends and how they treat people is the same as how Darnell treats people. They only care about themselves and seem to be oblivious of the struggles of other people.
12. She really loves the guy and is trying her best to protect his honour.
13. They definitely reflect how society treats women more so in the past. Things are slightly better now but we still have a very long way to go.
14. I think Darnell is used to saying things without facing the consequences and he definitely did not expect Omelogor’s clap back.
15. Glad it ended though I just felt like Darnell needed to be held accountable for his actions at least for him not to treat the next girl the same way. -

1. Not lost dreams, but ambitions. Before the pandemic, I was active—I used to go on runs and work out regularly. But then everything shut down. I wanted to run a half marathon, and now I can’t even run a kilometre to save my life.
2. Definitely. I was back in the bundus during that time. Naturally, there wasn’t much to do, so life was pretty relaxed. We didn’t even have many cases because, honestly, where would people even go besides the grocery store?
3. I’ve never really had that feeling, but I can understand why someone would want to be truly “known.” I do think Chia will experience it at some point, and I’ll be so annoyed if it happens because of some man. I’d much rather see it happen through her realising that her friends truly know her.
4. It’s a great tactic to make readers sympathise with Chia. By showing us her inner world and the way she copes, we’re more likely to understand her choices—even if we don’t agree with them later.
5. I have never experienced a feeling like this before.
6. Nope. It has everything to do with what many women are taught. A lot of us grow up hearing that it’s not “ladylike” to make the first move—that we should wait for the guy. Because of this, many women have lost great relationship opportunities. But what happens if the guy is too shy to make the first move?
7. I always say that when you find someone who truly loves you, it’ll feel exactly like in the movies. Anything less than that just means they aren’t really into you—they’re just passing time until they meet their soulmate.
8. He knew he had Chia wrapped around his finger, and he liked doing little things like this to remind her who was in control.
9. Darnell is just jealous. If he were in the same position, he’d definitely be using his family’s money.
10. Oh, absolutely—and it’ll be marvellous to watch.
11. They’re asses, just like Darnell. But I also feel like they’re performing for him, trying to impress him in their own way.
12. Chia is desperate to be loved by Darnell, and when you’re that desperate, you find excuses for everything—even when the truth is staring you in the face.
13. It’s exhausting as a woman to constantly be told what we can and can’t be proud of. We should be allowed to celebrate all victories, big or small, without being shamed for it.
14. That scene was a joy to read. Darnell definitely isn’t used to being called out. He thought the joke would land the same way it usually does, but instead, it took a wild turn.
15. The first two chapters wrapped up nicely. It was getting insufferable reading about Darnell and Chiamaka. -

1. Thinking back on the pandemic my dreams and ambitions have changed but I think thats because I have also just gotten older. I do however think I should go back to being more grateful about the simple days.
2. It definitely brought back some memories, especially about the uncertainty of it all.
3. I do understand the feeling Chia wants to be known, I do hope Chia experiences this as the book progresses.
4. I think Chimamanda does this so that we are on Chia’s side for future events, the author is pretty good at creating a likeable character that is also relatable.
5. This feeling that Chia felt towards Darnell, is not a feeling I have personally experienced, I had different thoughts and feelings when I feel in love.
6. Chia not giving Darnell her number for me is that it is what most women are taught or what is expected of us.
I wanted love, old-fashioned love. I wanted my dreams afloat with his. To be faithful, to share our truest selves to fight and be briefly bereft, always knowing that the sweetness of reconciliation was afoot.
7. I think movies, tv shows and romance books definitely change our perspective of love and what it is, and that most of the time how love is portrayed is unattainable and unrealistic.
8. I think Darnell uses/has Chia for when it is convenient for him, he enjoys ‘controlling’ her.
9. I think Darnell’s mockery of her family and her family’s money is possibly jealously. I think Chia does rely too much on her father’s money, and she should try become her own person without her parents money.
10. If Chia stays with Darnell I don’t think she will become surer of herself, but hopefully she does.
11. I don’t like Darnell’s friends, I think they give a direct reflection of Darnell being rude, judgemental and self absorbed.
12. Chia makes excuses for Darnell to protect herself from how Darnell truly feels about herself.
13. It is a reflection of the criticism of the world and how it treats women and not just Chia’s mom. Women always seem to have to stay inside this box of conformity and if we step out of this we are critiqued before celebrated.
14. I think Darnell and Omelogor purposefully started their argument over slaves, I think Omelogor wanted to see who Darnell is and I think Darnell was just looking to start a fight.
15. Yay! I am glad that relationship for Chia is over, it was toxic.
-
1. I completed my final year of high school and began university during the pandemic. A stressful time usually tempered by the joys of matric balls, graduation, university orientation, “fresher’s week” and other once-in-lifetime academic social experiences was simply just a time of stress for me and so many others who ended/began chapters in the life during the pandemic.
2. When I first saw that it was set during the pandemic, my first thought was “No, don’t tak me back!!!”
But it’s been kind of therapeutic reading this with the pandemic behind us. I can relate to Chiamaka in many ways!3. It’s an interesting and very valid desire. I can’t say I necessarily want the same, but in a similar vein, I have the desire to be understood. I hope Chia gets to fulfill this desire.
4. Never thought of this…. is this implying we might be against future things she does? 👀
5. Never felt this before (thank God)
6. While Chia experiences many personal inner struggles, I do believe this is partly due to the way women are conditioned to be.
7. Gosh, this is a tough one. Because YES. Hollywood/the media has made us desire an almost unrealistic “old-fashioned” kind of love. At the same time, I have seen and experienced love that is, while not quite the same, similar enough. And as a hopeless romantic, it will always be the love I crave.
8. Yes, Darnell was a manipulative jerk.
9. Like I said, Darnell was a jerk. He seemed to desire and envy Chia’s life while at the same time hating himself for wanting it. I believe we are all blessed in different ways. This is Chia’s blessing and she has every right to use what she has to do what she wants. Follow your dreams girl!!
10. I hope so. Oh how I hope so. My heart breaks for Chia (especially because I recognise much of myself in her). Her toxic relationship with Darnell definitely took a hit on her already shaky self-esteem.
11. Uhhhh I don’t want to judge but they give a facade of academic “wokeness” that’s really just a cover for their own insecurities.
12. She loves him. We make excuses for the ones we love.
13. YES! I found this passage so profound because the critique it makes of gender attitudes holds immense truth.
14. I don’t know if it was intentional, but I do feel like that joke would’ve passed differently with Darnell’s (horribly pretentious) friends. I loved how Omelogor clapped back! I think Darnell was expecting her to be as passive and submissive as Chia.
15. I WAS SO GLAD CHIA FINALLY FOUND A SHRED OF HER SELF-WORTH. SHE DESERVES SO MUCH BETTER.

1. Graduating in 2020 was supposed to be a milestone, but COVID-19 reduced it to a virtual ceremony. Sometimes I think about what could’ve been and how fun it would’ve been.
2. Reading Chia’s experience brought back memories and made me grateful for quarantining with my family.
3. Don’t we all crave love and connection? I think we all want to be known and loved by those who care about us. I believe Chia’ will experience this feeling in the book.
4. I think she’s simply a good person (maybe a little too good), and that’s what drives her actions. I genuinely admire her people-oriented nature and selfless concern for others.
5. Definitely not when meeting someone for the first time, maybe something similar to that as you get to know someone and just finding yourself immersed in uncovering all the different layers they might have.
6. I think it might have to do with both reasons, with the former being in the lead. We are taught as women that making the first move makes you look desperate and men do not like desperate women and as a result we find it difficult to make a first move.
7. I believe “old-fashioned” love is attainable, but movies and romance novels often only show the positive aspects. They don’t reveal the complexities and challenges that come with real relationships.
8. Absolutely, Darnell was very evasive and I think this was because as much as he did not like Chia as much as she liked him, he enjoyed all of the benefits that came with her. I think if he had an option to not have her but only the benefits he could’ve opted for that instead.
9. Darnell’s behavior is petty, and he’s clearly resentful of Chia’s financial stability. I think Chia should use this opportunity to chase her dreams.
10. Chia will definitely become more confident and self-assured.
11. They’re all scumbags. I don’t usually believe in the phrase “birds of a feather flock together,” but this incident is an exception.
12. Chia makes excuses for Darnell because she’s hopeful. However, hope can sometimes be detrimental to one’s own well-being.
13. Women are often expected to be humble and downplay their accomplishments, despite their many gifts and talents. This phenomenon is rooted in various cultural, historical, and societal factors. It’s quite backwards.
14. Darnell didn’t anticipate the conversation taking a negative turn. As a man, he’s likely used to getting away with his behavior and underestimated the women’s willingness to stand up to him.
15. There were many points in Chia’s story where I wanted her to end the relationship. When it finally happened, I was relieved, but also worried she might go back.

Ayanda Mtshali (@ayanda.reads)
1. For me, instead of lost dreams or ambitions as a result of the pandemic, I was reminded of how fragile life truly is and gained even more dreams/ambitions.
2. Absolutely! Especially the feeling of days bleeding into one another and the doom scrolling.
3. I have the feeling of wanting to leave the world having been true to myself and having lived in my purpose. Whether that ends in being known, is not something I am worried about. I hope she does. Since it’s something she seeks out with such fervour.
4. Possibly.
5. I have not felt this during my first encounter with anyone. It takes me getting to know someone more for feelings that intense to surface.
6. I think a little bit of both. Women are conditioned from a very young age to not appear aggressive in many facets in life, with dating being one of them. The man as to be the aggressor. But it is also very possible that it is simply not in Chia’s nature to be that assertive.
7. Yes! Mainstream media plays a huge role in women’s perception of love and what it should look like. The reality is men are generally very disappointing. That kind of love is the exception, not the rule.
8. He definitely wanted to keep Chia trapped to continue getting thing from her (that he still complained about, btw. So weird).
9. I am personally of the belief that Chia should use the opportunities she has been given to chase her dreams.
10. I certainly hope so!
11. Narcissistic. Egotistical. Inflated sense of self. Condescending. Contradictory. The list goes on…
12. Chia chose to ignore Darnell’s shortcomings in favour for an imaginary Darnell who treated her better. But she knew they were there.
13. Yes. Men are not held to those standards. Refer to the lyrics of Taylor Swift’s “The Man.”
14. There is a possibility Darnell thought Chia’s friends would be as mousy as she is around him, yes, so he did not expect Ome to clap back as she did.
15. It may have seemed anti-climactic to a person looking from the outside, but in reality, it was the accumulation of many small incidents that ended up manifesting in that way. -
1.Not really, the pandemic hit when I was still in high school and was still trying to figure out this life thing.
2. Yes it does, that was a scary time!
3. I do, I want to be known so I hope Chia gets what she wants which is to be seen.
4. No I don’t think so, I think she just a little bit insecure which makes her live in her mind a lot.
5. Lol yes
6. Yes, I think the way she was brought up influenced her to not want to make the first move.
7. Honestly yes, I think that’s the whole point of movies and novels, to help us have high standards and also escape into the reality of the old love
8. Darnell is a narcissist, who just wanted to to control Chia and dim her light.
9. Chia didn’t choose her family, she was born into wealth so why should she act like she wasn’t born into money, that’s crazy business and Darnell is just doing too much.
10.If she cut off people like Darnell
11.His friends are just like him, a group of narcissist nje
12. She is insecure so she thinks she loves him and she can’t survive without him because of how she feels about herself.
13. I think it all comes down to you as a person. Yes we are influenced by what we saw growing up. But we also have a choice to change or not change
14. Omelogor speaks her mind which was refreshing to see her put Darnell in his place because guys like Darnell like submissive women so I was living for Omelogor coming for him
15. I’m so glad, she left that man!
