1. Lemohang sounds stubborn, so I don’t think Sbu will name his child. Maybe he’ll be able to give the child a second name.
2. Well, Mthunzi has obviously been waiting for an opportunity to beat up Sbu.
3. I’m just wondering whether Mthunzi will be jealous that the child is not his? He seems the type when it comes to his stuff. I want Gal to get away from Mthunzi, to put as much distance as she can.

5. I loved that she made a move, and I loved that he turned her down more.
6. She’s as stubborn as her grandfather, so yes, I think she’ll escape if she sets her mind to it.
7. I wanted to get inside the book and strangle her! How can she accuse her daughter of that? If she opens her eyes a little bit she’ll see that Moipoine does not want any of that.

14. I thought this was the strangest thing, it happened so quickly with no forewarning whatsoever. I mean,Im glad they got to meet him but I feel like there could have been a bit more planning involved, especially for Rosemary, even though she was the one who wanted to meet him.
15. This whole situation was so strange to me by how quickly it happened! Saying that I think it needed to happen and it also made me sad because it sounded like such a love story between them, and there is probably still love there. It makes me think again of when we do something because it is deemed right by societies standards rather than our own and it seems like Gal is following in her mothers footsteps. -

1. I think Gal will give her grandfather the honour to name her child instead. She seems to favour him a lot especially for being so gracious in welcoming the news of her pregnancy.
2. It’s all very messy at this point. I wish she had made her decision much earlier and told Mthunzi the truth herself.
3. I can’t wait to find out where this love triangle goes. I hope he is happy with whoever she ends up with considering there is now a baby involved.
4. I think this is due to her circumstances. She has been feeling like she needs time away from her family and this opportunity to go to varsity came at the perfect time for her.
5. Rosemary did catch me off guard in her approach to meeting Velvet Voice for the first time. Totally was judging her at this encounter.
6. I really am rooting for Moipone to get the freedom she seeks and deserves. She is really not happy living with Keke and understandably so. Keke is unbelievable and so blind to the damage she is causing in Moipone’s life. She is very toxic.
7. I am not shocked that she made that bold accusation. I have heard many instances where women in her situation choose their partners over their kids which is so disappointing. This leads to an ongoing cycle of abuse, hence Moipone wants nothing to do with her mother.

Mthunzi will have a hard time accepting this but I hope Sbu is ready for the animosity and chaos that will follow for him especially because Gal is still in love with Mthunzi and has not written him off completely yet. She does love the idea of getting married and raising her son in a stable home though.

13. Oh, absolutely. I related to Rosemary the most when she spoke about her love for books, and how she gets Ntsika excited about his choice of books, especially that whole conversation about literary greats. It was such a sweet moment.
14. Well, it’s about time. They can finally know the truth and find all the answers they are looking for. This is closure especially for Rosemary.
15. I’m glad there is at least understanding from Kabo’s wife, Warona since she was completely in the dark. She really handled it better than I thought she would. I hope Kabo will make more of an effort to get to know his daughters now that Buang has formally brought them to see him. -
1. Definitely not. The grandfather is too assertive.
2. That scene was crazy drama. Gal did nothing. If anything, she made the situation worse and more complicated.
3. Gal seems like she likes ‘bad boys’ and Sbu will grow extremely resentful of the way she is behaving. This can definitely have a negative effect on his perspective of women. This is such a relevant dynamic in how men and women assume gender roles in society.
4. I think they are a result of circumstance but in the end every person has a choice on their attitude and how they respond to circumstances.

6. It’s an even split between yes and no. Simply because she has a choice in what she will accept in her future love life. She could hope for the love she craves and deserves if she loves herself and is open to it. Or she could become bitter and warp her entire perspective on love and loving relationships.

9. I feel like she’s settling for what she thinks is the right thing to do. If she is not willing to leave Mthunzi then it’s easy for her to become someone that is unfaithful in their marriage because she’s behaving a certain way in public but it’s not truly what she wants.

11. No. That was purely revenge and vindictive. She didn’t need the fire to escape. She could have easily done so without the need for that. That was emotionally charged.

14. That was an act of love and humility. It takes courage to put aside your feelings for the benefit of someone else.
15. It lessened the severity of the situation. It normalised it. It was great to read but I’m not sure how realistic it would be. I felt slightly disconnected with the dialogue before, during and after the meeting. -
1. I think Gal will feel obligated to follow her grandfather. If it were Mthunzi’s, she would definitely follow Mthunzi.
2. She disrespected Sbu big time by getting in Mthunzi’s car. And obviously Mthunzi is in his feelings.

1. I definitely think that Gals grandfather will win. It’s always like that when you don’t have family to support you.
2. She is the reason things are the way they are. She was wrong for even going off with Mthunzi. She was never supposed to try keep both of them.

7. Keke is a delusional woman who chooses a man over her child. Just like Moipone she too wants love and will do anything to get it even if it means making her daughter the villain.
