Edira gives a reaction to Seville, mentioning that the two of them will be heading to Willowfell. How do you think the townsfolk will react to her being there with an Ever? Do you think that Edira will try to explain herself to those she used to interact with?
Now that we’ve seen more of the Evers, do you think it is possible that the golden beetle Edira sees belongs to a particular Ever. Could it belong to Rorik or Orin?
We learn of how Edira’s parents died in Chapter Twelve and Seville asks Edira more questions about her threadmending. What do you think of Seville’s comment regarding children and the possibility of a mortal carrying an Ever. Do you think she is insinuating anything?
Seville shares with Edira that she and Edira’s aunt used to exchange letters and then she suggests that perhaps their relationship is similar to Edira and Orin’s relationship. Why do you think Seville talks to Edira about heartbonds?
What do you think Vora is warning Edira of?
We’ve now seen Orin and Rorik’s true appearance. What do you think of Rorik’s?
Do you suspect that we will have a love triangle beyond the current flirtations? If so, who are you rooting for?

1. They probably won’t react at all, since an Ever is present. They wouldn’t ask their questions in front of Seville, I’m sure. Edira is also not one to explain her actions – I doubt she’d try now.
2. I think it belongs to Rorik – he seems to have a particular soft spot for insects and his trimmings are gold.
3. I think she’s insinuating that this is what will happen if Edira & Orin end up together. Alternatively, she might be hinting at Orin’s actual plan, if he is being deceitful.
4. She might want to warn her that Orin (or any Ever) might want to heartbond with her for her threadmending abilities, or it is something that Seville and Rowena did or tried to do.
5. Probably to stop asking such pointed questions, since curiosity is clearly not well-rewarded.
6. I think his appearance suits his personality – dark with a bit of light surrounding it, dangerous but beautiful.
7. Yes, definitely. I don’t know! If Orin is being genuine, then for him. But I have a feeling that his kindness is a ruse, in which case Rorik might be the better fit, even if he is a flirtatious person. -

✨I didn’t expect her to especially since she has always shied away from the people of the town. She might have been a good healer for many but she was still seen as an outcast in a way.
✨It could belong to Rorik since he did asign the moth to Edira, the beetle could be a spy for him in Willowfell.
✨She seems to be insinuating a relationship between Edira and Orin. She has made multiple comments on how flirty and non-discreet Orin is. I think she has a soft spot for Edira because of her past relationship with Edira’s aunt.
✨She might be warning her that Orin’s intentions are not all pure and he is strengthening her abilities to form a heartbond.
✨To stop asking too many questions that she might not be prepared to hear the answers for.
✨It’s very different from Orin’s but the dark wings and black eyes suits him. I like how the Evers have an appearance that matches their personality.
✨ I don’t think so to be honest. Edira seemed quite disgusted with Rorik using her to annoy Orin and she didn’t seem to be jealous that he was with another woman. I think she liked Orin more.

I think people will be shocked to see her with an Ever and the implications that come with that, them realising she is a threadmender. This would be because Edira was always so closed off to the townsfolk so i dont think they would have suspected something like this, i think they would have just thought she keeps to herself.
I 100% believe it belongs to Rorik, seeing as how he controls Ywena. I think he sends the gold beetle wherever she goes so that he can keep tabs on her.
I think that Seville is definitely playing her own game and has an agenda of her own. I think she is implying that Edira try and get heartbonded to Orin so they can powershare.
I think she speaks about it with Edira to help her understand them and possibly push her towards considering one with Orin.
To stop asking so many questions because she could be seen as dangerous and knowing too much.
I think it suits his character well. I have always liked the whole wing situation!
I do think so. I think it will between Rorik and Orin. I was initially rooting for Orin but I am starting to become too suspicious of him and I feel like Rorik truly cares about Edira without having an agenda behind it unlike Orin.

– The townsfolk will probably be terrified and suspicious. I think Edira will want to explain herself, especially to people she cared about, but whether she can is another matter. Her connection to Orin or Rorik may force her to stay silent or twist the truth. She’s trapped between loyalty to her old life and her dangerous new life.
– Yes, I love this idea! The golden beetle feels symbolic, like a piece of an Ever’s true self leaking through glamour. It could belong to Orin or Rorik.
– This is such a loaded line, I think Seville is poking at the horrifying possibility that an Ever could be reborn or sustained by inhabiting a mortal womb. Maybe the Houses experimented with fusing Ever essence and human bloodlines to make the “perfect” vessel.
She could be warning Edira that her bond with Orin isn’t just spiritual.– Seville’s comment is probably her way of warning Edira that bonds blur lines. She might be hinting that her letters with Edira’s aunt were more than they seemed. It could also be a reminder that heartbonds aren’t just about affection they’re about power, control, and hidden agendas.
– She might be warning Edira not to trust Orin fully or to beware the price of healing an Ever.
– Rorik’s real appearance feels more raw than Orin’s, he’s less polished, more primal. He feels like the reminder that Evers are monsters as much as men. His true form hints he’s been Ever far longer than Orin or has less humanity left to hide.
– I absolutely suspect a twisted triangle is brewing. Orin and Edira’s bond feels destined but dangerous, while Rorik has this strange pull, too. If I had to pick sides? I’m torn because Orin’s reluctant vulnerability is compelling, but Rorik’s raw honesty is just as magnetic. I’d root for Rorik if he offers Edira more freedom but if Orin learns to truly trust Edira, he could be the better match.
Either way, it won’t end cleanly. This world doesn’t do tidy romances it seems it does tragedy rather. -

1) I think the townsfolk will be shocked, but they probably won’t say anything unless they can get her alone. They’ll want to keep up appearances in front of the Ever. It might be interesting to see if anyone ever suspected something, given her family ties, but I don’t think much will come of it.
2) Given how much Rorik likes insects, I feel like it might actually be one of his little spies.
3) She might just be fishing, trying to plant seeds or extract something about Edira and Orin’s relationship. And this might be her way of warning Edira that Orin’s true intention is to use her for power. He’s immortal, so if he had threadmending abilities, he might be able to heal people himself, unlike Edira who’s human.
4) I think it ties to what I said above. She’s trying to warn Edira that Orin’s intentions might be to bond
5) I think she’s warning her not to ask too many questions. It’s going to get her in trouble. She needs to play dumb.
6) Immediately when I saw Orin, I thought “tail daddy.” And Rorik? “Wing daddy.” And I am 100% a wing daddy girl. So #teamrorik.
7) I bloody well hope she chooses Rorik soon, because this whole flirtation and butterflies with Orin is starting to frustrate me.

I think there will be a lot of confusion. I don’t think Edira will be 100% honest with the townsfolk.
I was still unsure about this but with the gold threaded into Roriks outfit at the fete, I think it’s his beetle. Especially because of Ywena being a moth. It makes sense to me.
It seems like she’s trying to make random conversation but it’s kind of a weird topic to be talking about, especially between people who are not friends. So yes, I think Seville is hinting at something.
I feel like she’s hinting at bonding with Orin. Though I’m not sure why yet.
We already know the sisters are sketchy, so I’m not sure why she Vora warned Edira in that moment, when the moment was calm.
He’s like a dark mysterious angel, I love it.
I’m rooting for Rorik but if Orin ‘wins’, and his intentions are pure, I wouldn’t be mad at it. Edira deserves and break and some happiness.

I don’t think Seville will have her trying to explain, she doesn’t seem like that’s something she condones. But I think the townsfolk will definitely be flabbergasted.
I have thought since the beginning that it belongs to Rorik.
I don’t think she’s insinuating anything, rather just explaining.
I think she talks to Edira about this because she has a plan for Edira to form a heart bond with maybe Orin or Rorik to make her more powerful and stand a better chance at curing the Blight.
To stop asking so many questions.
Rorik’s appearance really suits him. It’s dark, intense and beautiful all at once.
Honestly I was rooting for Rorik before, but after a few training sessions with him I feel Orin is a better match — even though I think he’s a little boring, he cares deeply for Edira.

I think her reveal as a mender will be the only explanation they need.
It’s possible, maybe it’s a spying agent, lol.
I think she is setting Orin and Edira up. And I do think a union of the two and an access to eithers powers will help cure them of blight.
I think she had a heartbond with her aunt, or perhaps she wants Edira to consider the possibility of binding herself to Orin.
I’m honestly not sure.
I’m a wing girl, and I AM team Rorik… so, whatever he is I’m keen for.
RORIK!

Q – Edira gives a reaction to Seville, mentioning that the two of them will be heading to Willowfell. How do you think the townsfolk will react to her being there with an Ever? Do you think that Edira will try to explain herself to those she used to interact with?
A – I think that they will be surprised and perhaps give her a bit more respect than they did previously. I don’t think Edira will know how to explain it so I think she’ll remain silentQ – Now that we’ve seen more of the Evers, do you think it is possible that the golden beetle Edira sees belongs to a particular Ever. Could it belong to Rorik or Orin?
A – I thought it may have been Orin initially but then after seeing Rorik’s affinity with insects, I think it belongs to RorikQ – We learn of how Edira’s parents died in Chapter Twelve and Seville asks Edira more questions about her threadmending. What do you think of Seville’s comment regarding children and the possibility of a mortal carrying an Ever. Do you think she is insinuating anything?
A – I think that she is insinuating that Orin may want to have a child with EdiraQ – Seville shares with Edira that she and Edira’s aunt used to exchange letters and then she suggests that perhaps their relationship is similar to Edira and Orin’s relationship. Why do you think Seville talks to Edira about heartbonds?
A – Perhaps she’s trying to share that she had a close relationship with Rowena and the purity of the Heartbond but also maybe she’s trying to manipulate Edira into being open to Heartbonding with OrinQ – What do you think Vora is warning Edira of?
A – I think she’s warning her of trusting the Evers in general or being too quick to form close bonds with them because they are not trustworthyQ – We’ve now seen Orin and Rorik’s true appearance. What do you think of Rorik’s?
A – Rorik sounds like his form attracts Edira on a deeper levelQ – Do you suspect that we will have a love triangle beyond the current flirtations? If so, who are you rooting for?
A – I think so. I’m rooting for Orin but also am conditioned to distrust the first MMC so I think it’s going to be Rorik -
Tammy (@book.barbarian)
I think they would be too scared, but I think they will most likely shun her or be in awe of her
Yes I do think it belongs to someone, maybe it is a spy?
I think it is a warning, she sees something brewing between them and wants to make sure it never happens
It sounds like she wants to manipulate her into doing the Heartbond with Orin
That she cannot trust anyone, especially the Evers.
He sounds really sexy to be honest! I really love wings.
No that we have seen Rorik’s appearance , I do wish it was him. He seems to be really caring for Edira and not as mistrustful as Orin, it is so confusing on who to trust!
