I did not, it didn’t seem that he cared enough for Jackson. Alex’s intentions were good but she should have been honest with Kwanele since they have a relationship of sorts
Definitely, I had thought that this was the case when I first saw it come up. I feel like they feel overwhelmed and also I feel like it will look like they’re trying to make excuses.
I think they definitely will, they have a great foundation for it already especially after the storm incident. And the handholding was so cute!
Bianca is very annoying and I don’t know why Legend hasn’t broken up with her earlier – he doesn;t seem at all happy in the relationship. I knew someone who was similar but luckily not anymore.

I think that it’s time that Kwanele told Dirk off – he needs to do his job and not try to do things beyond his scope

I don’t think she did the right thing – she had already made her place at Yamihle and I don’t think knowing that Liesbet is her mom would make a difference to them. Liesbet also had a good point in that she cant pretend that her life is different from what it is and I’m sure that Liesbet was hurt as well
It feels as though they may be swayed by the developers but Tannie Santie seems very set not to. Go Tannie Santie! 🙂

Bianca it a terrible person, she thinks she is the most important person in the room and expects everyone to treat her as such. Don’t know what Legend sees in her.
I never expected to see Johan again so that was a huge surprise. I think she needs to have Marietjie and Kwanele know so she has backup should he return again,
Yes I think the developers are posting the bad reviews. I think Antoinette and Barend are so stressed by the review they nit sure how to respond.
I think Kwanele and Alex will become more than friends.
I really don’t know why Legend still has a relationship with Bianca, they seem to argue a lot and she is a real bitch.
I think Kwanele is wise and keeping Dirk busy with other tasks is the best thing for the team.

Kwanele was protecting Alex because he cares for her. He is in charge of the guides so laying down the rules, should be what he does.

Bianca and Dirk spending so much time together worries me, they may both be involved in the shareholders trying to take over. Bianca may know something of Alex’s past as she does know the bully from school.

I don’t think Barend and Antoinette quite know how to deal with a situation like this.I think their moments together are so cute! I really hope something more develops between them.
Their relationship is incredibly toxic and I’m not sure why Legend even puts up with someone like her. Thankfully I don’t known of anyone in my who like who are quite like these 2. They certainly wouldn’t be in my circle of friends / family.

Bianca is incredibly annoying and has to be at the centre of attention.
I think Dirk realises just how much of a problem she is going to be.I loved this part where the bullies were told off! I felt almost proud when Kwanele protected Alex and the rest of the staff from Dirk.
No I don’t think so. He is the type of person to call out anyone who is wrong, and likewise gives praise where it is deserved.
Yes I definitely think Bianca wants to gossip to Dirk about Alex or try to dig up some dirt on her.
I’d be very grateful if I got breakfast made for me everyday! I’m sure Jackson is loving it, especially from where he came before.
I felt a bit sorry for her mom, being taken surprise like that. But I also do understand that Alex is trying her best to not let who her family is influence ghe way she is viewed by her colleagues.
I think the Ooms will sell yes because they want the money, but I’m glad Tannie Santie is standing her ground!

I thought Dirk was bad until Bianca entered the scene, she is so self-absorbed it’s scary!
I was waiting for him to come back into the scene; it only made sense for her not to get away with what she did. I understand why she did try get her friend involved but because he was drunk, it was never going to work. He wouldn’t have backed down.
Most definitely the bad reviews have been all made up as a result of them trying to get them to sell their piece of land at a cheaper rate as now one will want to stay there and they will be forced to close down. I think they haven’t replied to reviews because they are in denial.
I think Bianca loves to be in control and loves the limelight and I’m really lost as to why Legend is even still with her. It is clear she is getting on his nerves and he doesn’t seem happy with her, so I’m not sure why he hasn’t ended it yet. I’m very confused as to why she thinks she has so much sway with this renovation when she is just his girlfriend and has no shares?
I’m quite impressed Kwanele stood up for Alex and is showing that not bullying of any kind will be acceptable. I think he would have felt the same way even if he wasn’t interested in Alex as a love interest.
I think Bianca is up to no good, whether it’s about getting additional information on Alex or trying to gain some sort of ownership of this camp or maybe even having an affair.

I’m really disappointed she acted like she didn’t know her mom. She needs to grow up and own who she is, regardless of what people think.

I literally cannot stand Bianca, she’s a terrible human being. She treats Legend horribly and looks down upon everyone else and her friendship with Dirk is just weird.
I didn’t expect Johan to find her at all. Very creepy honestly. I don’t think she should have involved Marietjie and I don’t think she should have paid him off – that could just lead to more trouble. And yes, I think she should have told Kwanele everything because this could come back to bite the lodge.
I think Antoinette and Barend are very stressed at the moment. I do think that the developers have something to do with the bad reviews so that the can make acquiring The Plains easier.
I really wish we had a little more relationship development between Alex and Kwanele. We are over half way through and there has hardly been any intimacy between the two.
I have no idea why Legend puts up with Bianca, it makes no sense to his character. She is horrible.
I think that it is about time that Kwanele spoke up to Dirk, honestly it should have been Legend. And I have no idea how that man is still employed.
I have no idea how Kwanele would have felt because I feel like I don’t actually know him as a character? We don’t get much time to actually know him and spend time with him and Alex, and whenever they do, it’s really just glossed over.
I think that Bianca and Dirk are definitely colluding but I have no idea regarding what, it could be Alex’s past, The Plains or even the directors trying to overrule Legend.
Jackson is living the life. I wish I had someone to make me omlettes every morning because I certainly won’t put in so much effort lol.
I think that Alex has things she really needs to sort out, seriously. It wasn’t fair to pretend like she didn’t know her mother but at the same time I do understand where she’s coming from on a personal level. I think everything is going to blow up in her face though.

2. I thought it would be a possibility that he would find her. I think Alex involved Marietjie because she hoped she could diffuse the situation, but Johan was persistent. I think Alex should just be truthful to the team; it’ll save her a lot of drama later.
3. I am 100% sure it’s people who are from the developers writing those reviews. Antoinette and Barend may not be responding because they know that whatever they do, nothing will stop the developers from bad-mouthing them.
4. It certainly looks like it. I personally feel like their relationship development could, however, be more on page. Instead of telling us they were bonding, as a reader, I want to be shown that they are bonding and growing closer.

1. Bianca is a typical entitled spoiled bully who thinks the world revolves around her. She’s so mean!
2. I’m really surprised that he tracked her down and extorted her that way, given how he felt about the dog! Eventually all her lies are going to come back to bite her so I do think she needs to be more truthful in general.
3. I think it does, as if they’re trying to cause them to shut down so they can take over easily. Maybe they feel defeated by those reviews hence why they haven’t asked follow up questions

I honestly did not expect Johan to find Alex—kind of lowkey thought he’d just accept the fact that his dog was gone 😭 Alex involving Marietjie was okay, it wasn’t like she could stop it, but i think it was an important building moment in their friendship fr. As for Kwanele, if Alex is thinking of starting something serious with him, it’s best not to have any secrets-she should definitely tell him.
3. I think it’s the developers doing this-not Dirk as I previously assumed. Antionette and Barend are probably trying to keep a low profile as they are trying to figure out what to do.

I think she is a gold digger. I think she is very shallow and quite a nasty person overall.
I did not expect him to come back for Jackson but i do think Alex made the right decision by including Marietjie because Johan seems unstable and i think taking him on by herself would be dangerous. I do also think she should have told Kwanele. S he is starting to tell too many lies and it isnt doing her good for her fresh start or her budding romance with Kwanele.

Oh my gosh, Bianca is such a nightmare. Like, what crawled up her a…? She is rude, entitled, and just oozes that energy of someone who needs to be the centre of attention all the time. Everything about her feels bratty and insufferable.
Yes, I kind of did. Johan seems like the type who would take his chances once the car was sold. He clearly saw an opportunity to make some money, and that was his priority from the beginning. I liked that Alex involved Marietjie. It gave them this fun secret-girl-alliance moment, which was great for bonding. And yes, I absolutely think Alex should tell Kwanele. If anything is going to grow between them, honesty and communication need to be the foundation.

Their relationship is absolutely toxic. If you are constantly fighting, that is not love. That is dysfunction. I get that maybe there is chemistry in bed, but the constant fighting is exhausting to witness. Bianca seems to thrive on drama, and Legend is just enabling it. It is a mess.
I love that Kwanele plan to get rid of Dirk. Dirk is nothing but a troublemaker.
Bianca absolutely loves being in control and being praised. She wants to take over the renovation to make herself look important and capable. Everything she does is about getting recognition, not about actually helping. She comes off as bratty, and I think Dirk is starting to realise that backing her is not going to earn him any points.
It was about time. Dirk was throwing his authority around in areas where he had no business interfering. Kwanele finally laid down the rules and reminded him that the guides do not report to him. He made it clear that if Dirk has a problem, he should take it up with actual management, not interfere with how Kwanele runs things.
Probably about Alex. Bianca clearly does not like other attractive or confident women, so if she can find any dirt on Alex, she will absolutely use it to her advantage.
Can I just be Jackson, please? I would absolutely live for that.
That made me feel really sad. I wish she had just come clean then and there about who she was. Alex keeps getting caught in these misunderstandings or half-truths. It does not reflect well on her, even if her intentions are not bad.
I really hope the farmers do not sell. Selling to Horizon Heights feels like the beginning of the end for that reserve, and I am hoping they manage to hold out.
