What do you think of dragons choosing their tail? We meet the irids that Andarna has been searching for and one of the first questions they ask relate to her tail.

The irids listen as Andarna retails the story of her life and her time spent with Violet. What do you make of their proclamation that they were bred for peace and that Violet has failed her dragon?

What did you think Andarna gave Violet that was “something far more dangerous to wield”?

Xaden’s secret is out. Do you think the quest squad will accept him again? How do you think Jesinia, Rhi and Sawyer will take the news?

Upon returning to Basgiath with a small victory and a bid defeat, the quest squad learns that Suniva and the Queen of Poromiel have fallen. Cat’s family is now in succession for the throne. How do you think this will change the course of the book and what is to come?

Violet’s dreams are back and this time the Sage has the sword of Tyrrendor. Do you think this means Xaden might be the Sage in her dreams?

The wards in Aretia are failing. Do you think Violet will have trained her signet enough to fight off Theophanie?

The fact that the dragons ask about Andarnas tail could mean it’s an important aspect of their kind.

I understand their point of view but they should of asked Violet to explain herself so they could understand what they are going through and why everything happened the way it did.

It could be something that everyone would see as a threat.

They will be shocked but I think they will try to help just as much.

This definitely makes the story more interesting and will add new conflict or opportunities.

    Maybe

She could or maybe she’ll need help from the others.

I actually love that they can do that and I appreciate Andarna even more after she changed her tail to replicate her role model’s.

Honestly I’m quite flabbergasted that dragons can associate themself with the word peace – like the word literally does spring to mind when I think of dragons.
I’m assuming it’s her ability to stop time because no one should have that amount of power.

I think at his root they know he his good and they will learn to accept him but still be very wary of him. His actions have only been for the good of the people.

I’m quite excited to see Cat take more of a lead in the next book and see how her families ruling will differ to the ones before.
I don’t believe Xaden is the Sage but I do believe the Sage is actually interacting with them.. something feels off about these dreams.

I can only hope she has trained her signet enough to defeat her.

    1. Similar to riders with their signet, dragons choose their tail based on what they need.

    2. This was horrible and my heart hurt for Andarna. I think they were way too high and mighty. They saw things in black and white and did not take into account the situation. Sure, humans are violent by nature, but I think they were asking for a lot considering the circumstances. Peace cannot exist without war.

    3. They will for Vi’s sake, and also considering he’s been okay. I do think they would take it hard purely because Vi was keeping secrets again.

    4. Definitely puts Cat in a more powerful position. Her uncle does seem a tad more out of touch compared to the queen so interested to see how the new king acts. I think she’ll now have to be more heavily guarded.

    5. No, I feel like the Sage has the ability to reach them in their dreams. It’s weird that both of them are dreaming of it.

    6. No. I think Vi still has alot to learn when it comes to mastering her signet. But she’s smart and resourceful so I’m sure she’ll find a way to survive.

I found it so interesting that they are able to choose their tail. With it being the first question, it definitely shows their tail is an important part of their being.

I felt so bad for Violet, especially since she didn’t choose this path herself and can actually relate with Andarna. Supposed to be following one path, but life/circumstances took them in a different direction.

The only thing I can think of is the ability to stop time. That can drastically change things, but it could be something else since we are only learning more about Andarna.

To be honest, I think they might be wary of Xaden, especially knowing that one loses themselves to being venin. I just hope that their bond is strong enough to believe in him.

Now that Cat’s family is next in line, I feel we have no certain idea of what’s to come. It’s all a grey area for me.

There must be a connection between her dreams and Xaden, since she dreams of the sword. But it’s unclear who the Sage is.

Theophanie makes me nervous. She is obviously powerful, so Violet must get enough training in between everything that is going to beat Theophanie, or to stand on equal ground.

The dragons have needed there tails as a defense in war, and so they choose the tail they can use effectively. Irids are peace loving so no need to choose a tail.
A lot of their story is about war and Violet had to use her to help. They do not favor that Violet used her as a juvenile in war.
We still need to understand this statement, sure we will find out more in book 4.
Tecarus is the king now and Violet has a relationship with him, I think it will help Xaden and Violet with the senarium.
I.m not sure it’s always a possibility or it’s the sage putting thoughts into her head.
Violet won’t give up only when she faces Theophanie will we find out.

Tails must be of some significance to irids if that is the first question they ask.

It broke my heart. I didn’t expect this sub-plot to take such a turn. I am curious how they were bred for peace but seem to be extremely powerful dragons.

I’m not sure, to be honest, but whatever it it I assume it will be seen as a threat.

I think shock is probably one of the first emotions they will feel, and maybe they’ll even feel somewhat betrayed, but ultimately I gather they will all try their best to help find a solution/cure.

This definitely puts cat in a more powerful position and I’m excited to see how this will progress. I assume she will also be getting a much bigger role in the books as the story progresses.

    I think that’s a very big possibility!

    I truly hope so.
