In Chapter Fourteen, Prue shares with us that she enjoys people watching (hello book title). Do you also start making up stories about the people you observe?
Why do you think Milo wasn’t responding to Prue’s texts? Was it because he was spiralling or something else?
What do you think of the interaction between Prue and Nik, Milo’s brother, while in the shop?
Milo quickly rushes over to the shop and reaffirms that all is right between the two of them and that Prue should come over for dinner. What do you think of Milo running from the house to the shop?
When we are at Nik and Sef’s house, Milo cannot stop looking at Prue. He acknowledges that a feeling has now turned into more feelings. Do you think Milo will stay in the small town for Prue or will Prue leave the small town and live her life with Milo on the road?
The spicy scene happens quite quickly. However, throughout the entire process, the two openly communicate. Do you think this is different from some of the other romances you’ve read?

1. Oh yes! Leave me at a coffee shop alone… and my imagination runs wild 😊😂
2. He was definitely spiraling, because the way he ran over when he thought Prue didnt want to accept the dinner invite from Nik. Yeah he was probably pacing and thinking about what to say to her.
3. It was rather unexpected and uncomfortable especially coz Sef sent him on a mission… but once he called Milo I think he became more comfortable and it ended up being such a great moment for them.
4. Like I mentioned before he was totally in panic mode that Prue might not join his family dinner… feelings are being caught here.
5. I think that they both will be open to anything really as they seem to be bringing out alot in each other… Milo find himself even thinking about whether she want a child in the next 10 months… meaning it will ground him and Prue is being spontaneous and seeing what’s out there in life.
6. Oh it is different but not out of the ordinary when you look at the circumstances of teaching and learning 😅
7. It was a surprise for me… but literally is it coincidence or fate.
8. Yes… let’s hope its fate.
9. I believe it will get them thinking that this feelings that they have for each other is the universe’s plan and hopeful they take the dive…. im here for it!

Always! My sister and I actually do this together.
I’m actually not sure what to think of this. It’s either just not something he has thought enough about or he is trying to fight his feelings for Prue.
I was giggling and kicking my feet! I love the playful banter, I love the family vibes and poking fun at each other. It all feels so easy for them. Prue needs and deserves this.
He’s honestly a girls dream. Cocky and confident but also just a sweetheart. I’m really enjoying to see his truer self under the facade.
Family is at the core of both the characters! I think that they will adventure but ultimately end up in the small town with their families.
I said in my first set of questions that there’s an invisible string theory happening and I love that this proves it. I love the idea that theres a world where people are destined to be in each other’s lives or together and all these little “coincidences” lead to the eventual, written in the stars meeting.
I don’t think the no feelings plan was ever going to work but these realizations are making it more inevitable that feelings will happen. In fact the shift already started and this just solidifies it for me. Excited to see it grow!

1. I actually don’t and this has given me the idea to start doing it.
2. He was definitely spiralling. I think he was trying to comprehend his feelings for her and didn’t realize he was ghosting her. It seems that he hasn’t been in a serious relationship and doesn’t know how to navigate it.
3. I loved it! Nik and Sef can definitely see that Milo likes Prue and they’re trying to encourage them to spend more time together whilst getting Milo to explore possibly staying in town because of his connection with Prue.
4. He didn’t realize how she might feel while he was trying to sort his feelings out. I think it’s sweet that he done all that to reaffirm her.

3. He treated Prue like a close family friend, instead of someone that he just met. I get the idea he already knows what Milo is yet to admit.
4. Milo is chaotic in the best way and I absolutely adore it. It just melts my heart that he had to get there fast to ensure Prue everything is okay.

I don’t necessarily make up stories about them, but I do enjoy watching people.
I think he may have been spiralling and also possibly didn’t want to seem way too over eager after what they agreed to.
I enjoy Nik’s character so I love his interactions with everyone. He just seems like a really nice guy.
I find it funny that he ran all that way, but guessing it’s due to his two week promise to his vehicle.
I am actually not sure – I am hoping they find a nice in-between where they possibly settle down in town, but do occasionally travel together.
Yes, I think it is different to most romances I have read, but I like the fact that they are openly communicating as that is crucial to their arrangement.

I think all these small coincidences could be an indirect indication from the universe that they were always meant to find one another at some point.
I am not sure, but hoping they see it as them being connected long before they even met.

Everyone in this book is so likeable and sweet, it’s nice reading about everyone getting to know each other.
One thing that Milo is going to do it reassure Prue. Love that!!

1. I really like how Prue creates these little stories for all of the shop’s customers and that it is also something she has in common with her dad! I think its really cute but I have never done this myself, no.
2. I think that Milo is so used to being a certain way and that way seems to be changing ever since he stepped foot into this town, because of his family and Prue. I think he is trying to distance himself to take back whatever control he can get.
3. Very awkward but I like Nik, he is a good guy and him calling Milo was hilarious! Loved that
4. Milo is very confused lol, but I am glad he showed up for her and didnt carry on avoiding her.
5. I love how, even though Milo seems like a character that is closed off and flighty, he doesnt really deny that he has feelings for Prue and I like that. I think Milo might choose to stay but I dont think itll be just for Prue, I think him, Nik and Nadia will find a way to move past everything that happened to them and Milo will finally feel ready to stay in one place and be present for his family.
6. No not really because Prue is a virgin so you would expect some sort of level of communication, especially if the MMC is at all respectable.
7. Cosmic intervention? because that is crazy! Well, I suppose if you think about it, it isnt THAT crazy considering Prue’s mother was his art teacher but I would definitely be shocked if that happened to me.
8. Once or twice is a coincidence but Im starting to think that Milo and Prue were fated for one another (in a fictional sense lol)
9. I am not sure but I do not think its a very big part of the plot, if anything, if Prue were going to freak out shed have done it already. So hopefully it is just a funny coincidence they can laugh over in the future!

1. Oh yes, I’m definitely guilty of that. I love making up little stories about people, who they are, what they do, and what brought them to where they are. It’s such a fun way to pass the time and let your imagination wander.
2. Honestly, he could have just been busy. They’re all supposed to be helping set up the brewery, after all. But I also think he’s fighting his feelings for her and doesn’t know how to deal with them. It’s that push and pull between wanting her and not knowing what to do about it.
3. That was so cute and surprisingly sweet. I really like Nik’s vibe as he’s grounded but open, and I loved that he wasn’t afraid to call Milo out based on what Prue assumed. It showed how Milo’s family isn’t afraid of honesty, and it made the whole interaction feel warm and genuine.
4. The fact that he didn’t just text her but actually showed up in person to make things right says so much about his character. When he realised how his actions might have affected her, he wanted to fix it properly, not just with words.
5. I think it’ll be a bit of both. They might travel and have adventures, but Prue is such a homebody and family-oriented person that I can’t see her giving that up completely. And since Milo’s finally getting closer to his own family, I feel like they’ll find a way to settle somewhere together that balances both sides of who they are.
6. Definitely. In a lot of dark romances, communication isn’t always front and centre, but in cosy rom-coms like this, it is.
7. It’s probably just a happy coincidence, but it says a lot about how deeply something she wrote resonated with him, even before they properly connected.
8. I think they’re both. It’s one of those moments where fate and timing line up perfectly. It’s less about destiny and more about being in the right place at the right time, with the right person.
9. I think both of them will take it as a sign that they’re exactly where they’re meant to be.

No not really – I never like to assume too much.2) Maybe he just wanted to give her some space!
3) oh my word this made me laugh! What an older sibling thing to do. I loved it. A little mean but I think it also put Prue at ease.
4) This man is already so smitten. Running to her to reassure her AND bringing her flowers? He has FALLEN.
5) Shew – that’s tough. I actually can’t say – a part of me wants Prue to see the world. But I also want Milo to stay and have a life with his family and not run away. But I do think that maybe, Milo will stay and Prue will have a life of her own with Milo. And finally write something and publish it.
6) Yes – there’s open communication and very clear consent, which is something you don’t read so openly sometimes.

8) Definitely happy coincidences but also, things happen for a reason. There were all these little pieces of each other in their lives but they didn’t know it. And they never met. Until the time was right.
