1.I know it’s a hard situation but I didn’t like that Prue said her father lied to her. I feel like that is something that, while it affects her, is personal to him and he can handle it the way he wants to. She isn’t entitled to knowing things before he is ready to share just because she is his daughter.
2.This entire outbursts really annoyed me if I’m being honest. Just like my previous point, she is not entitled to know everything. Tom asked Milo not to tell her and as much as that killed him, he was right for not betraying Tom’s trust.
3.I would have listened to him, especially because I have more life experience than Prue. She’s a small town girl who literally has no life, never had a boyfriend, never had friends. She doesn’t have the experience of handling situations like this and this is exactly why Tom was worried about her in the first place.
4.I love how their relationships have progressed. I really love the siblings bond. I just wish we got more of their trauma so we could work through it too.
5.I’m glad she didn’t because that would have been selfish and her mom would have probably had an episode.
6.I still think that Tom is right lol, I’m sorry but Prue doesn’t show the emotional maturity only life experiences can give you. She immediately calls off putting her mom in a capable home because she will “figure it out” and I don’t think this is the correct response.
7.I think Milo was very vulnerable in this moment because he is sharing a part of himself and yet, it is also due seeing as he has already read all of her personal art
8.No, she made it clear that she would be meeting him and she’s not a flight person.
9.100%. That man would have been on the dock every night for the rest of his life if he had to.
10.It was a little fast, I think that just shows that Prue blowing up was an impulsive reaction that she could have handled better if she is willing to forgive him so quickly. Although I still think he did nothing wrong.
11.The part where Julia allowed him to come to her wedding to Tom. That was beautiful.

13.It was lovely but I wish the book was a little longer. I would have like to have expanded on Milo’s trauma and I think a little more back and forth between Prue and Milo was needed, especially since they both stated they wouldn’t catch feelings and then immediately caught feelings lol

The way she reacted seemed a bit childish to me. She should of allowed Milo to explain himself and shouldn’t have said her father lied instead she should of thought about how hard this must be for him.
At that moment I got annoyed. She seems more angry at the fact of “being left out”. She shouldn’t feel so entitled to know everything.
I would have let him explain himself.
I’m happy about their growth and I think they handled the situation as best as they could.
That would have not been a wise thing to do.
I think this was a better reaction then how she handled it with Milo.
This is his way of finally opening up and yes I think she now realizes how Milo sees her.

1. It is sweet. I feel that Milo is doing it as an act of service. Also, he knows that Tom is sick and won’t be able to fix these things himself.
2. Goosebumps! I love his inner monologue and that as soon as he realised he loved her, he also accepted it. My heart could not handle it.
3. I think Prue feels it; but I do think she is being oblivious to it. When she realises it I think it will be a beautiful moment between them.

4. They gave him good advice. I love that they were immediately there for him, no questions asked. They also did mot make him feel bad about what had happened.

Fair! I agree that it wasn’t his secret to keep but equally Tom shouldn’t have asked Milo to keep his secret. It was an all round messed up situation. In a way I think Milo did his best.

She was perfect. She did it in a way that showed that she is her own person and can make decisions for herself. Prue has always been the person that would stay and show up for her family she just needed her dad to see it.
Milo is showing his heart through his art and that speaks volumes. It was such a beautiful gift and gave Prue the confidence to know he truly sees her.

It did feel a bit rushed at the end but ultimately it was the ending I wanted (and needed).
Them getting ready for the wedding day is one of my favourites! Full circle moment!

I can totally understand her spiralling and stressing, but I feel like she jumped into the blame game a bit too fast instead of imagining what her dad must be feeling like.
I think he reacted a bit unfairly towards him. Tom put him in a very difficult situation and it was not his fault – he was trying his best to be what all of them needed from him.
I feel like it’s easy to say you would have responded differently but one never truly knows how you will react until you are in that situation. I do feel like she treated him too harshly though and I would have tried to put myself in his shoes.
I really love seeing how much progress they have made in their relationships with one another and that they can be so supportive of one another. I think they gave good advice.
I don’t think it would have been a good idea to unpack that with her mother.
I think she handled it better with her dad than expected after how she handled it with Milo.
I think it is beautiful that he shared something so vulnerable with her and it might also show her just how deep his feelings for her are.
I knew she would show up – there’s no way I would’ve accepted anything else 🤣
I do think he is. He is truly one of my favourite characters of all time.

1. I believe that its a typical response to getting such devastating news about someone you love.
2. I think in her emotional state her itsbhard for her to believe that her Dad didn’t trust her to tell her and yet treated Milo of whom his know for only a few weeks.
3. I think I would have been an emotional wreck but I would rather question my Dad and not take it out on Milo. Although, him working with my Dad to try and get me out of the town. I wouldn’t believe that what my feelings would be like for Milo.
4. I think as broken as they seem to be they really did pull through as siblings and supported Milo through this devastation his feelings. I would of added that even if she says no… after telling her his feelings I would advise Milo that his feelings weren’t made up or fake that persistence is keep to winning Prue over…
5. That might have sparked another episode for her mum that she would cause more har. Than be comforted.

1. I think her reaction was completely realistic. She’s already dealing with so much. With her mother’s decline, and then finding out about her dad’s illness, just pushes her over the edge.
2. For her, it’s all about trust. She thought she was the closest person to her dad, and learning that he confided in someone else first feels like betrayal. It’s not really Milo’s fault, I think he’s caught in the crossfire… but she’s angry, hurt, and just needs somewhere to put those feelings.
3. I probably would have reacted the same way. When trust is broken it takes time to process. I’d have been just as upset and probably would’ve asked him to leave too. Sometimes you need space.
4. I loved that scene. It really showed how far they’ve come as a family. The siblings have grown so much, and I like that Nik was honest with him, that there isn’t a magic solution and he just has to do what he can. If it doesn’t work out, they’ll still be there to pick him up.
5. I think it would have made things worse. Her mother doesn’t fully understand what’s happening, and that kind of weight would’ve only confused or frightened her. It would have just led to more emotional chaos for both of them.
6. She handled it better than I expected. I think she finally stood up for herself and made her own choice.
7. It was a lovely gesture and showed just how much he cares about her. I don’t think it was so much about her realizing how he sees her through the drawings, though.
8. Not really. We were too close to the end of the book for that! It’s a romance so of course she had to show up. Otherwise, it would’ve been a terrible ending!
9. Absolutely. If she hadn’t come that night, he would’ve kept finding other ways to reach her. He’s that kind of person — persistent, loyal, and deeply committed once he’s in.

11. My favourite part was them talking about their book. It’s such a sweet reflection of real love.
12. I think it’s adorable. It ties everything together perfectly. It’s such a wholesome way to close the loop on the title and their journey.
13. It was sweet, but I wanted more… I personally wanted to see that vision that she had with her falling pregnant or Milo proposing officially not just like maybe. I wanted something a couple of years down the line, when they had their own kids and you see Nik holding their daughter in a similar way to when Milo was watching Prue hold his niece. Now he gets to see his brother hold his daughter.

1) I think she was handling it fairly well all things considering, I don’t think there was a better way she could have handled it. Other than calling and talking to her dad straight away.
2) Her questions are 100% fair and valid and very expected, she trusts both her dad and Milo and she must have felt so betrayed, by both of them. Especially considering how she has actually come to rely on Milo.
3) That’s a tough question, especially never having been in a situation like that. I think I would have eventually asked him to leave so I could think clearly. Chances are I would not have let him say anything at all after admitting the agreement between him and Tom.
4) This was such a key moment for them! and it really showed how they have also changed and grown throughout the story and learnt to rely on each other again. They definitely gave him some really good advice, from each of their perspectives. They were more positive than I would have been.
5) I think that would have been a really bad idea – her mother is not in a position to handle that kind of burden. It would have probably spiraled out of control.
6) She was very straight forward and adult about it – kind of stepping more into the parental role. Taking over from her father.
7) It shows Milo’s complete trust in Prue, and that he wants to share everything with her. I think Prue seeing those drawings really does show her how he sees her, and how much he loves her.
8) I had a slight moment of doubt – I wasn’t sure if it was going to have a happy ending. and she would have been completely valid in not showing up.
9) He is now! Maybe not Milo at the beginning of the book, but now he is.
10) No, I’m a sucker for this type of reunion/making up/resolving the third act break up.

11) I love that it came full circle to where they started the book – with Tom and Julia’s wedding, and that it showed how much better life is now, and easier to manage with both Prue & Milo working together to help her dad and mom.
12) I was so delighted!! At first I was like, No, is it one of those stories where the characters are actually writing the book we’re reading? Which would have been such a weird twist. But actually, writing the book together in the way they did it was beautiful. Very symbolic in how they are building their life together too. Also because People Watching is what Prue used to do – imagining other people’s lives, and she doesn’t have to do it alone anymore.
13) I loved the ending, and I would love to see a short story of their wedding one day! I’m glad there was no rush to get married. That would have ruined it for me. Otherwise, it was fantastic. and exactly what I would have hoped for.
