    1. Its definitely acts of kindness, especially after the news about Tom’s cancer. To make it easier for him and less for him to worry about.
    2. It was an epiphany and its just what I needed as a reader 😅 I loved this fast paced conversation he had with himself.
    3. I think that it was shown clearly even though they lacked the words for it. But I think she feels the same and would love to be with Milo.
    4. His finally found someone that his willing to commit too and is ready to be stable and grounded.
    5. Yes! I literally waited and read over the pages just incase I missed it. But alas it was not thr right time… maybe too many endorphins that was going to influence their judgements 😅
    6. Most definitely he was… but once again we are grateful that Milo is resilient and could show Tom the right way to Prue and understand her place in all of this.
    7. Its great really, although it could be wise to also give Prue a chance to decide if staying or leaving is best for her since Milo is flexible
    8. Damn… I have a sneaky suspicion that things are about to go down… 🫣

    1. It’s sweet but I think he does it out of guilt. He knows Tom won’t be able to do any of those things soon.
    2. I saw it coming but it shocked me that he accepted it so easily. I was expecting him to deny his feelings for a while.
    3. I definitely think she’ll noticed and wanted to do the same thing. She would have confessed her feelings for him too.
    4. He is fully committed and intends to spend the rest of his life with her.
    5. Yes!
    6. Yes but I also think Tom is scared that Milo will keep Prue in town when all he wants is to let her see the world. I do think Tom is being selfish and is not thinking bout what his daughter wants but about what he wants for his daughter.
    7. I knew it was going to happen and I’m so happy about it.
    8. No I don’t. I think she’ll find out before he gets a chance to tell her.

    1. I think Milo just has the need to help out because of what Prue means to him as well as what her mother means to him.

    2. I definitely saw that a mile away lol but throughout this entire book, he has definitely shocked me with how accepting he is. Yes, he might not want to work through his past, but he’s actually really easy going where I thought he’d be stubborn.

    3. I mean how could you not notice that, no matter how distracted you are? Prue definitely knows how Milo feels about her.

    4. I think it says a lot about Milo honestly, yes he is committed to her but I dont think it’s an act of commitment. More an act to reflect something he thought he’d never find in this lifetime, something that means a lot to him and even if he and Prue were to separate at the end of it, it’ll be something he will cherish for the rest of his life.

    5. No, we have to have a little angst come on lol the more its drawn out, the better it is when one of them caves

    6. Of course. Tom is scared and hurting and probably thinking about how cruel life can be. He is grasping at straws because his panic has him thinking that what he decided for Prue is right and I absolutely get where he is coming from even if he is wrong.

    7. Knew it from the moment he arrived, even besides Prue. The way he loves his family told me he would probably not be leaving

    8. I think that were heading for the 3rd act right now and that something is going to blow up and i dont think its going to be good!

Where is the sign up sheet for a Milo? I want one! It’s honestly so sweet and is Milo showing love without having to say it which we know is hard for him.

I think Prue can feel it and it’s why she feels safe. She may not fully understand that he’s wanting to stay for her yet but I think she atleast recognizes that he cares ALOT.

Oh Milo is alllll in and I’m here for it!

That seems too easy… I’m here for the dramatic fall out and then epic come back together moment!

He’s terrified! It’s breaking my heart! It’s going to be a really difficult secret to share.

It’s what he needs! I love that Nadia also wants to stay so his family will be together after so much time apart. Now we just need Prue to stay too…

No. Something is going to happen. Maybe she will find something relating to her dad’s illness while looking for the medication?

I love that about him. He not only cares about Prue but also her family.

I saw it coming but finally he realised he’s in love with her.

I think she felt the love and once she finds out how he feels she won’t be surprised but happy that he feels the same.

He finally found someone he can let in and feel safe with and this is his way of wanting to make it shown maybe.

    Yes!!

Yes, Tom wants to do things a certain way and Milo is changing those plans.

I knew he would want to stay for Prue.

No, I have a feeling something bad is going to happen.

    1. It is sweet. I feel that Milo is doing it as an act of service. Also, he knows that Tom is sick and won’t be able to fix these things himself.
    2. Goosebumps! I love his inner monologue and that as soon as he realised he loved her, he also accepted it. My heart could not handle it.
    3. I think Prue feels it; but I do think she is being oblivious to it. When she realises it I think it will be a beautiful moment between them.
    4. Milo is alllll in!
    5. I really wish that they will communicate more about their feelings.
    6. Yesss. Tom is definitely scared. And well done to Milo for sticking out and having that difficult conversation.
    7. I think it will be good and I love that for him.
    8. I honestly hope so. That phone call feels like a plot twist happening

I love that he does that – it shows he wants to spent time near Prue and her family even if he doesn’t have painting planned with Prue’s mom etc.

I think we all knew (and hoped) it was coming, but I think it actually happened faster than I expected – I expected him to fight his feelings.

I think she noticed and feels the same way as well.

I think it just shows what a big impact she has on his life and that he would want her to be a part of the rest of his life in some way or another.

I was hoping they would, but I do also understand the hesitation considering their initial agreement.

I think he is scared, yes. He also wanted Prue to leave town instead of staying “stuck” their for her parents and he may be concerned about her staying once she knows Milo is staying.

I am really happy about him wanting to stay and settle in town – his family is there and he needs some stability when it comes to the people he surrounds himself with.

I don’t think so – I had a bad feeling about her finding out they were keeping secrets before he could talk to her.

    1. I think it’s really sweet. Those small acts of kindness say so much about who he is. I honestly think Milo’s love language is acts of service. He’s shown it with his family before coming back to town, and now he’s doing the same for Prue. It’s such a quiet but powerful way of saying “I love you” without words.

    2. I was waiting for it to happen. It’s very much a “he falls first” dynamic, and I’m happy he’s finally realized how deep his feelings go.

    3. I don’t think she noticed it. She was probably caught up in the haze of the moment, and it just sounded like babbling to her. Maybe later, if she ever decides to learn Russian, she’ll put two and two together.

    4. That absolutely melts my heart. It’s such a sweet gesture and lets me tick off the “he gets a tattoo for her” trope, which I adore. It’s a quiet promise of permanence — that she’s now part of his story.

    5. At that point, I was getting a little annoyed at the constant “let’s put a pin in it.” It felt like they kept avoiding real conversations, and everything was becoming about the physical side of their relationship. I wanted them to finally talk.

    6. Definitely. Tom’s carrying so much, and anger is one of the stages of grief. He’s scared and overwhelmed, and lashing out is how that fear manifests. It wasn’t fair, but it made sense.

    7. I think it’s sweet. It shows that he’s finally allowing himself to be happy and that he doesn’t need to keep running.

    8. No, I don’t think he’ll get the chance. We haven’t hit the story’s climax yet, and that call is definitely setting it up

    1) It looks like Milo is enjoying the simple life! These are things you do when you’re settled. You fix things around the house and help where you can. He seems comfortable in the Welch’s space.

    2) I think we were all waiting for that aha! moment from Milo, and it happened so quickly. But i’m so glad – nothing more annoying that a MMC who denies his feelings!

    3) I can’t wait! I’m sure she will feel so at ease knowing he feels the same way she does.

    4) The man is 100% committed – the permanency of a tattoo, and finally linking those words to Prue. He is besotted.

    5) I wish they had! It would have been even more perfect, if they had admitting their feelings.

    6) Of course he did… and because I think he is just angry at the situation in general.

    7) I think it’s great, and he has found where he wants to be – but at the same time, we’re hoping Prue decides she is happy to stay with him.

    8) I am starting to think he won’t get the chance or that it won’t mean the same anymore. I do hope he will be able to!
