Definitely this series @sarah.a.parker.author
I just fell in love with the way she writes, so
lyrical (saw this question from @bookish.bones )

The scream I screamed when I saw an ARC of this book was unbelievable. Thank you @jonathanballpublishers

Anyway you guys should definitely check out When
The Moon Hatched
.

This book was a MASTERPIECE .
The world Sarah has created is just 👌💃💃💃💃💃💃

I had the impression that I was really there, I was immersed with the story I felt like I was there . Everything was so well explained by the author.

IF YOU LOVE fantasy, dragons, suspense, angst, epic world building, Gods, strong female characters, banter, slow burn, and spice. This book is definitely for you.

Fearless assassin Raeve is seeking retribution. She is very strong, clever, and furious. Then there’s Kaan,He is a towering, muscular, violent cinnamon bun that embodies everything you could want. I was laughing at the way Kaan and Raeve are. The two have an incredible amount of chemistry, tension, and angst.

“𝘐𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧-𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘺 𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘦.”

If Sarah A. Parker writes it, I will read it. This book is a beast coming in at 541 pages but it honestly reads so quickly. Sarah is an incredible story teller and the way all the little crumbs came together where I had my little AHA moment was so well done! This book didn’t feel like there was a lot of info dumping, so I really enjoyed the pacing aspect. The world building was so intricate and I found it fascinating. Of course we have dragons, which is always a massive win in my book!

This book is visually beautiful just to start off with ~ from the cover right down to the chapter headings and the diary entries as well the little notes included – I love the small details as it really helps elevate the story and almost makes you feel like you are part of it.

Secondly, who doesn’t love a badass morally grey FMC and a MMC who would not only burn the world down for her but also make you swoon for the way that he cares for her.

Be sure to pick this one up if you love romantasy, character driven plots and slow burn romance.

  • Forced proximity
  • Forbidden love
  • Star crossed lovers
  • Who hurt you?
  • He falls first
  • Fae & Dragons

𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Thank you so much to @jonathanballpublishers for this stunning proof copy in exchange for an honest review.

“For those who feel small and quiet. Spread those wings and soar”

This dedication still is my most favourite line in this book – how can anyone resist a book with that?

This was an beautifully written story that alternates between multiple POV’s which slowly reveals the truth. The worldbuilding is awe-inspiring and the magic system is fascinating. And there are dragons!

Raeve is a strong, determined woman who wants to help the people who are deemed not important enough by society. Kaan is just perfection. He respects Raeve’s needs despite his own feelings. Their chemistry is next level with the slow-burn tormenting you as the reader. I also love that the relationships between that the other characters are so well developed, which adds depth to the story.

That cliffhanger, I need the next book now!

Pick this up if you enjoy:

  • Adult Romantasy
  • Excellent banter
  • Slow burn
  • Forbidden Romance
  • Dragons
  • Strong female MC

Thank you @jonathanballpublishers for this gorgeous ARC copy!!

“When the Moon Hatched” is a fast-paced romantasy novel set in a world filled with unique magic systems and dragons. It follows Raeve, an assassin for a rebellion group called Fíur du Ath, who is captured and imprisoned by a group of powerful fae who calls themselves the Guild of Nobles. They plan on making her into a political statement, so Raeve’s only chance of survival is to escape. During her imprisonment, dragon rider and king, Kaan Vaegor, stumbles upon Raeve. Something drew him to her…and together they might just unravel everything.

THIS. BOOK. I loved everything about it! It mainly follows the perspective of three characters and I loved all of them. They are all unique and add more depth to the plot. There were also characters I couldn’t stand…but they were meant to be annoying.

The way that Parker creates a unique world filled with dragons is what drew me in and I wasn’t disappointed! And there is more to this book than just dragons. The thing I probably liked the most was the magical systems. The fae are categorized according to their elemental power and the dragons (YES THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES!!!) are categorized according to the area they live in. The writing was detailed and fast-paced, I couldn’t put it down!

I can’t wait to continue this must-read series!

Thank you @jonathanballpublishers for gifting me a review copy!
