2. Oof this was rough – I felt the sting! I think its a defense mechanism for her and a way to protect herself from people getting close and becoming a danger to her.
3. It’s possible. It’s also possible that the copycats know who the hunters are so they know the hunters every move which makes them easy to mimic.

It could be both – maybe she knows more and thinks Alissa could get hurt and wants to protect her or maybe she has a plan up her sleeve
