1. Yes ! Totally shocked. First thought that came to mind was, “Not Khotso dying !”
2. What an incredibly painful life Luhlelwa has lived. I’m hoping that Wisani and Mashile will finally give her the family she deserves.
3. Whilst I agree with Wisani and her attempt in legitimizing Mohapi, the life he has lived to date, isn’t easy to walk away from. The past always finds a way to catch up with us.
4. Absolutely! She is surrounded by people who want to see her healing, on all fronts. Good for her !
5. I sincerely hope so. The pain she carries is too heavy to bear alone. She needs help and guidance wrt her healing, so that she can move forward and learn to trust again. Her past has deeply affected her. She doesn’t trust anyone, nor does she trust herself enough to trust her own instincts at this point.
6. I think at that point she realised its either her or that other person. If he is allowed to live and report back to Ntombela, it’s her life at risk. I also think, given everything she’s been through, she’s just numb or indifferent at this point. Trauma is funny like that. You either feel everything, or nothing.
7. I’m so disappointed in Popo but I was forced to ask myself, what would I do in that situation? Popo could have confided in Wisani and Mohapi and gotten them to help him instead. Betraying your best friend in such a cruel way is not something I could ever get over.
8. Yes, I was beyond happy. Hawuuuu, Mohapi can’t die on us now, we need him 😩 But what a clever plan that was ! These clever Bafokeng Brothers 🤭
9. This was such a heartbreaking incident. I don’t think any woman ever recovers from such a loss, but since Luhlelwa has experienced it 5 times – I think her friend will fully understand her pain. I am hoping this loss doesn’t tear Wisani and Mohapi apart, though.
10. WHO KNEW WE’D BE GETTING TWO LOVE STORIES IN ONE !? I’m swooning !! Yay for LOVE !
11. Exactly what the title says….im look forward to all the RECKONING!!

1. WHAT EVEN WAS THAT?! We will avenge chapter 57.
2. I sincerely hope that Luhlelwa builds a family with these people. I think they’ll take such good care of her and show true love and loyalty.
3. I think both are true. Wisani can want a better future for their family and try to keep business clean. But Mohapi already has such a dark past that I don’t think they’ll get away from it easily.
4. Yes I’m so hopeful for Luhlelwa’s future.
5. I think she’s a stubborn woman and might not want to speak to a professional. She also struggles with trust, and that’s difficult with a stranger.
6. I think she’s been around violence so much that she just accepted it. Especially when it’s someone who indirectly hurt her so badly.
7. Popo is officially on my blacklist. I was already upset that he didn’t tell Wisani about his baby, but this has gone much too far. I hope he lives a very long life, with an aching heart.
8. I am so relieved that their plan worked! Theyay be criminals, but I want them to be successful in everything they do. They’re my babies now.
9. I think Wisani and Luhlelwa will bond even more now due to their shared grief. But I’m worried that Wisani’s marriage might suffer.
10. That ending had me in TEARS! These women go through way too much and don’t deserve it.
11. I won’t lie, I’m excited for a revenge plot now. I’m living in this story and these people are my family now. I want them to win please. -

1. I was completely thrown into shock and horror, just like that death at the beginning, goodness.
2. I think after shes seen how protective of her they are all are being, that she will definitely stay and become another wife in this harem, she craves a familial bond and this clan seems like a good fit for her.
3. I agree with her, they need to legalize their business dealings, especially if the family is going to grow as I suspect it will, the past may come back to haunt them, but they need to look to the future now.
4. Im kinda curious who she needs to get in touch with as she has no one now, this playful banter she and Mashile have and the ways he takes care of her, shows you, if he wanted to he would hey, I think shes finally coming into her own and that shes going to bloom under the protection of this family.
5. She was so isolated and dehumanized I dont think its going to be an easy road for her to get the help she needs, I hope the family can talk her into seeing a professional, but I dont think it will happen anytime soon though.
6. Shes so broken inside that it doesnt affect at all, she didnt scream, react or anything, but instead worried about Mashile in the moment, I think for her this was a normal day shes lived over and over again so nothing fazed her about this killing.
7. Popo is coward of note!!! He could have forewarned Wisani and even if she stepped into the trap that was set, her husband and his brothers could have been prepared, but he lead her into a trap that caused so much damage, he showed loyalty to a family not even his own, for what, yes to protect his son, but I doubt they would have ever hurt that baby, hes a legacy for them, Popo is the worst kind of friend to have in my eyes, really.
8. Yes im so happy that what I read first, didnt actually come to fruition and that the guys where able to set a trap within a trap and leave with their lives.
9. Mohapi wants blood for what happened to his child, I feel like hes going to treat his wife with such tenderness going forward for what they lost and that she’ll be pregnant again soon, as for Luhlelwa, this is going to trauma bond them and she’ll be the rock Wisani needs now to heal and get back to her self.
10. I think that this was the most gruesome way to get through a story, a baby’s life for another baby’s life that was hard to read, the family dynamics are changing slightly and im here for the gangsters and their love stories, but all this death without flinching, wowwwww.
11. Peace im looking forward to peace and also some revenge on Popo, not death, but revenge nevertheless.

Yes!!!!!!!! I literally felt my stomach drop!
I think it’s going to take her time to settle and time for him to even figure out what this is. I think they are going to be beautiful together. Mashile is going to give her the space to work this out for herself but know that he is there.
I mean in the dark world they live history would suggest that something will catch up with you always. But yes I agree a business or 3 is a good idea. Maybe taxis a couple of salons for Luhlelwa. Tap into everyone’s talents and start a family business.
Yes her recovery will likely be over some time but she is definitely making good progress.
I do yes. I think Luhlelwa needs to feel completely secure and safe in her new life and in herself to take that step for professional help but I do think she is going to do it. I think she will want to be healed in everyway – physically, mentally and emotionally.
She was totally bad ass noticing the guy to begin with. Someone else might not have and I thought her humble to choose something less flashy I might not have done that ha jokes but I think she’s been hurt hard enough by that family that whilst she does not want crime she may also make peace with them getting what’s coming to them.
POPO!!!!!!! I cannot!! When I realised what he is doing my heart broke for her. I was so freaked out and scared I put the book down to breath for a few minutes. His betrayal cuts very deep. His been shady here and there but no man. This is too deep.
YES!! So happy I would not have been able to continue bue this book is Mohapi died. I was holding my breath there.
I think this will influence Mohapi alot. Especially since Wisani suggested the businesses. Loosing his child might be just the catalyst for a big life change. I think they will work through this and be okay, stronger even. I don’t think Wisani will resent Luhlelwa, she knows that she is a survivor I don’t want to call her a victim but she lost alot too. So as sad as Wisani will be. And grieve she will. I think they will help each other.
It’s cute! They both deserve the goodness of love. I’m very interested to see the development of them as characters and them together.
Peace. Love. Family. No more death. I’m looking forward to them all going forward in a healthy way. They’ve all been through so much. I’m hanging on the edge to see them all make it out alive at the end.

1. I didn’t expect that more certainly not that phone call. “My life is the sacrifice, the legacy of the Marashea will forever live on.”😭😭😭😭
2. I really hope she finds family in Wisani and Mashile, because Luhlelwa didn’t deserve to go through that kind of pain. She deserves soo soo much more.
3. I totally agree with Wisani. I genuinely think it is very smart of her, especially because they are likely to start a family. I think it is really important that they try to invest in a less criminal centered future for the sake of the whole family, and for the growth and wellbeing of their future children.
4.Yes! She’s honestly becoming more confident and comfortable with Mashile, and I love how we’re now getting a little glimpse of her fire and the way Mashile reacts. Yes, yes, yes!
5. Possibly, but I think she would probably avoid speaking to a professional, because that would mean exposing the entire family. So, for the sake of protecting and taking care of the family, I don’t think she would do that.
6. It was really smart of her to tell Mashile that the person works on Ntombela, because honestly, she saved her life. I think it was a very smart decision on her part.
7. Absolutely diabolical.
8. Not gonna lie to you, I was really worried because I was definitely fooled, but we love it when a plan actually works. But there’s still a lot left in the book, so I’m still concerned for everyone’s well-being.
9. think they’ll definitely grow stronger. I think Luhlelwa is aware of the feeling, and while it may open up some old wounds for her, I also think it could help her. If anyone can relate, it’s her, and sometimes having someone who understands the same kind of pain can be comforting.. just having someone to talk to.
10. Tears. Absolutely wrecked. Mohapi loves Wisani so muchhhhhh.
11. I’m honestly looking forward to them getting revenge on Popo because honestly, that man deserves to be disciplined for what he did. I also hope to see more of Luhlelwa and Mashile together, and hopefully see a relationship between the two of them blossom.

Were you shocked by the beginning of Chapter 57?
Yes! It was extremely heartbreaking. It gave a sense of how dangerous Ntombela is and added a lot of suspense to the story.Luhlelwa reveals to Wisani what life was like before. What do you think of what Mashile said to Luhlelwa? Do you think she will find a family with Wisani and Mashile?
Wisani warns Mohapi that she doesn’t want to lose him too. She suggests they use the money to invest in a future. Do you agree with her? Or do you think the past always has a way of catching up with you?
I think that life is full of choices and depending on the choices you make, your path can change. As such I would agree with her, wanting to know that her husband is safer and not risking his life every time he is away. I wouldn’t be able to sleep if I knew my husband was out doing something that could have serious consequences. The past may catch up to you, especially whilst trying to change trajectory as the new path is very closely aligned to the old path, until over time they deviate.Does Chapter 61 feel like a step in the right direction for Luhlelwa to you?
Yes, it feels like she is starting to build up her confidence to ask for things she needs. No longer being silent or being directed in what she should do by others. I am not sure if her decision to just get sleeping tablets is the right move, I do think she has a lot of things she still needs to work through and may need some help to work through it all.Luhlelwa remains hesitant to speak to a professional. Do you think there will come a time where she finally feels like she is able to get the help she deserves?
I do hope so, as she will need to overcome all the trauma and hurt she has experienced, so hopefully she is willing to address them sometime and get some closure plus help to move forward in her life. When at the mall, Luhlelwa spots someone who works for Ntombela. What do you think of her reaction (or lack thereof) when Mashile kills this person?
I think she has been through so much trauma, and probably received a lot of harm in the previous relationship, which may make her more numb to it. I think she also feels more protected than threatened by Mashile,. She may also justify this for herself, knowing the potential consequences if Ntombela’s guy did report back, stating he saw her. So in a way he did it to protect her rather than cause her more harm.
What do you think of Popo’s betrayal?
This was the biggest shock so far in the book, I cannot get over it. I also think it is very horrible to threaten a child’s life to get someone to co-operate, so I can’t fully blame him, but damn that was a really hard betrayal and I am still not over it.
Despite the harsh situation, were you pleased that Mohapi and his brothers’ Trojan horse plan worked?
I am happy their plan worked, I just didn’t like some of the unintended consequences. Its hard to say though if things would have been different if Wisani didn’t experience such intense trauma from the whole thing. We learn when Wisani is taken to the hospital that she was pregnant. How do you think this will impact her relationship with Mohapi and also Luhlelwa?
I think her connection with Luhlelwa will be stronger, having both experienced this type of loss. I am sure it will impact her relationship with Mohapi, it was a devastating loss…What do you think of the end of Part Two?
I am happy for Luhlelwa, I think she deserves some happiness and if she can find that with Mashile I am all for it.With everything that has happened, what are you looking forward to in Part Three?
I’m scared for part three, even the name has me concerned as to what more they will all go through. -

1. YESSSSS!!! It literally had me clutching my chest screaming now!!!!
2. My heart broke for Luhlelwa 💔🥹. I pray that she has finally found a family with Mashile and Wisani and that they take care of her.
3. As much as I understand where she’s coming from; she knew the type of man she married. She shouldn’t try to change him because the life he has been living thus far isn’t going to be easy to walk away from.
4. Yes! 100%. She deserves to be loved and protected.
5. I understand that her past trauma makes it hard for her to open up and get the help she needs but I think if she does she will heal a lot more and will be even more open to love in the future.
6. I think she feels safe enough to know that Mashile will protect her and she’s reached a point where she has accepted that the ones who hurt her will finally get what’s coming to them.
7. I was so angry! I can understand why he did it but he could have at least tried to warn Wisani about the situation he is in and not blindsided her.
8. Yes!!! Oh I was praying it would work🙌🏼
9. I think it will bring them all much closer; especially Luhlelwa and Wisani because she has also been through child loss.
10. Omg!!!! Absolutely loved it!🥹
11. OH FOR SURE!!!! Bring on the revenge plot!🙌🏼
