1) I think he will have to find a balance between honouring his fathers legacy and fulfilling his duties as a husband but I really do believe that he and Wisani will make an amazing team because she isn’t totally naive; she knows the type of man she’s marrying and the baggage thy come with him.
2) I definitely think someone will come looking for the woman. Either her family or the man’s family; when they find him dead they will want answers.
3) I’m unsure but so far he hasn’t given me a proper reason not to like him 🫤. I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt so I’m going to say that his intentions are pure.
4) Oh yes; I definitely think he will be a problem because she has declined his advances multiple times and he still pursues her so clearly he isn’t backing off!
5) No! I was clutching my imaginary pearls in disbelief!
6) It was such poetic justice how they met their end 👌🏼. I think she can now finally rest because she knows her children are safe and protected; and she has been avenged and there’s no one left to hurt her children.
7) She is still very bitter and I don’t believe that she’s changed at all! I feel like she’s still going to be a problem.
8) No marriage is perfect and especially not one as rushed as there’s was. They also don’t really know each other but I think that they will find their footing soon. They’re making progress
9) I’m absolutely LOVING this read! So bingeable; and yes I totally read more than the daily chapters because it’s just so hard to stop and put the book down 😬🫣. In the next part I know shits about to go down I just just see it…

1. I think for the safety of his wife he might handover the main part of what he does to his brother’s, he loves her so much, he might just give it all up.
2. Looking for the woman, I doubt anyone’s looking for her, because this man isolated and beat her to an inch of her life and it was prolonged abuse, no one sees her except this wife beating husband, someone might coming looking for him though.
3. When he said he had a favor to ask, I was pleasantly surprised he didn’t ask for money, or for her to move out of her home and that he just wanted to get to know his sister, im gona give him the benefit of the doubt and say, hes coming to her with pure intentions.
4. I doubt that man will ever appear in front of her again, hubby already had him “talked to” I know it.
5. No I didn’t see that plot twist coming at all, I expected a screech and a sarcastic comment just like Wisani did.
6. I think that they deserved every bit of what happened to them, and that her mom’s soul can rest in peace because she knows her child is being taken care of now.
7.I think Maleshoane has even more hate in her heart after she went from wife to servant, the things her mother forced her do, come easier for her now, because she almost hates her husband at this point.
8. Its all very fast and spontaneous and im not sure if this was the best decision, but im hoping for the best for them.

I think the writing was fast paced and the short chapters were to enticing to stop where you were supposed to, the characters lives and deaths, progress as fast a bullet train not stopping for new passengers and if you miss one minute you’re going to be left behind. Its gripping and so plot twisty every few pages, im thoroughly enjoying it.

I wana see this baby being born because, does POPOs personality change because he has a kid?, where do they actually end up living?, im hoping the lady in hospital we find out shes a victim in a much bigger crime and these guys saved her life so she repays them in a big way, do the brothers face more difficulties with their mother? .. I have so many questions going into the second part.

1. I think Mohapi is quite capable of balancing both his duties to his wife, and upholding his father’s legacy. I also think Wisani is the type of woman that will support and guide him on this journey.
2. Yes, I think someone will come. He left the body on the side of the road. So maybe, police ?
3. Nzama has been heavily influenced by Wisani’s aunt, so I don’t trust him one bit. He’s coming for that house.
4. Yes, aren’t men always ? LOL ! Why did he tell her that ? One would assume the best friend already knows. So, why did he tell her that ? He is up to something….
5. Oh yes, that one looks like trouble on legs.
6. I don’t think she can. There are still a few walking around, that need reckoning. What happened to them was poetic, lol ! Their greed came back to kick them in the behind, literally!
7. Yhuuu, I don’t trust Maleshoane yet ! I sincerely hope, for her and baby’s sake, she has turned a new leaf. But that’s yet to be revealed 🤔 until then, don’t eat Maleshoane’s food !
8. Things progressed too fast for me. So, I’m still processing it, I think Wisani rushed into it and perhaps Mohapi controlled the pace that they’re moving at, too much ? On the other hand, when a man knows, he knows!
9. I loved part 1, the pacing, the story, everything. So much happening ! The author didn’t give us a chance to rest. We entered this story running 🏃🏽♀️
10. I expect drama 😩 Maleshoane, beautiful lips, beaten woman, police, Popo. We’re in for a wild ride 🤪

1. I think Mohapi will try, but it will be a struggle to balance the two. I think it will clash.
2. I think someone might come looking for the woman. I hope nobody looks for the man because he’s clearly garbage.
3. I feel like Nzama may just be taking advantage of Wisani, now that he knows she has a rich and influential husband.
4. I do think the lips-man will be a problem. I don’t think he would keep popping up in the story if he wasn’t getting a bigger role further on.

6. I really hope Wisani’s mother can finally rest now. The family clearly had bad intentions and met their match.
7. I think Maleshoane is still on the bad side. The fact that she said Wisani can do whatever she wants in the marriage, after that first day, doesn’t sound right. I don’t know the culture, but I think the tradition spans over a longer period and there will be more “expectations” for Wisani until she goes back to SA.
8. I definitely think these two are moving way too fast 😂 but so far it seems to be going well for them and I hope they can enjoy their marriage. I think they both have good intentions and want happiness.
9. I have been LOVING part one! The story gripped me right from the start and the writing is fantastic.

1. I think you can be successful while doing things your own way instead of conforming to tradition. I think he’s going to do that by focusing more on Wisani and the brotherhood rather than doing the actual jobs himself. I think he’ll focus more on being present and possibly delegating responsibilities. Kind of like the head of the gang.
2. I didn’t give it too much thought, but I genuinely think that if the woman had people around her who truly cared for her, she wouldn’t be in the position she’s in. So, considering that she’s lying in a hospital bed and might not even survive, I don’t think there’s anyone who’s going to come looking for her.

No, I don’t think so, and I do not blame Wisani for being skeptical of him because he should have stood up for her when her entire family was slut shaming her and being incredibly disrespectfulto her in HER home. Also, considering what she learned from the shaman/ seer I think her outlook on what is happening within her father’s side of the family is much clearer now, and because of that, I think she’s going to be hesitant to trust everyone around her.

5. No, and I was absolutely disgusted that he was. Popo is a major red flag for me right now. Regardless of how open he was to admitting her got the woman pregnant, “a man is a man” is never a proper reason.

7. I’m a person who definitely forgives very easily, so I’d like to say no, I don’t think she still carries ill intent toward the Mofokeng brothers but, you can never really know for certain.
8. I still think that they’re moving a little too fast. It’s very romantic and very sweet, but I’m always skeptical when two people move too quickly in a relationship.

He will make his father proud in the same way he will love his bride. I think that a lot is on his shoulders because he is the first born, but he has his brothers who are always on his side and their traditional healer who plays a huge role in his life. He also seems to respect tradition.
I hope she survives to tell her story. I think Mashile is really taken with her while at the same time worried about her. I’m not sure someone will come looking for her, especially after the way she ran into the road to get away from the abuse.
I think Nzama is being controlled by the aunts and he probably wants to get to know Wisani. I’m not sure about his intentions but time will tell.
I think he will try again by Wisani. He certainly didn’t seem like he believed her about having a husband. He will approach her when she’s alone or when Mohapi isn’t with her. A man like that thinks he is gods gift to women. He won’t stop.
Somehow I kind of did expect him to be right but I hope like hell he would be wrong.
Yes I think Wisani’s mother can rest easy now knowing her daughter and son are safe and loved. Her family got what they deserved. They messed with black magic and got it back tenfold. You can’t curse someone and expect karma to ignore you.
I think she’s trying, but she knows she did wrong even if she says she was following her mother’s instructions. She needs to ask forgiveness and be genuine about it.
Wisani and Mohapi have progressed so much in this book. They became each other’s safe spaces. Their love bloomed with each encounter.
I really enjoyed part one. The meeting. The way things unfolded. The love that grew.
I’m looking forward to part two especially since it’s titled “sisterhood”

I think when put to the test people can achieve much more than they think is possible. I do think he will find a way for his family and maintain the legacy.

Its hard to say what the consequences will be as both these individual identities are unknown. So there could be some repercussions to his actions, will have to see what happens.

I think Wisani has a big heart and is willing to connect with those who treat her right. As such I think she could develop a relationship with him, if he has pure intentions. Its hard to say what his true intentions are at this stage.

That is quite a way to meet ones end, it feels brutal and intense. I would like to hope Wisani’s mom can be at peace now and rest easy knowing her daughter is protected.

I am not sure if I trust Maleshoane as I cannot be certain how much of an influence her mother still has over her and if she will try manipulate or use Wisani to unknowingly become an accomplice to her schemes. I would like to think she would like to do things differently though. So hard to say.
What do you think of how things have progressed between Wisani and Mohapi?I struggle a little with what feels like insta-love a bit. Also they seem to have very few interactions. I think the attraction is there but the depth of their feelings could still strengthen.

I have loved it so far, I am finding its fairly easy to connect with the story and all the characters. Only challenge was some of the translations.
